Just in case you were worried that the United States was the only place in the western world where political correctness and social just warrior initiatives have left civilization circling the drain in the sink of sanity, fear not. The United Kingdom is dealing with the same problems and, at least in some cases, failing the test just as poorly. At Altrincham Grammar School for Girls in Manchester, one of the top rated schools in the nation based on standardized test scores, the School for “girls” part of their name is now in question. You see, as the Daily Mail recently reported, they’ve become worried that referring to the girls under their care as … girls, might be offensive if any of the children are “transitioning” to a different gender.

For more than a century it has educated generations of girls.

But one of the country’s top-performing state schools has baffled parents by informing them its staff will in future use ‘gender-neutral language’ when talking to or about children.

Altrincham Grammar School for Girls in Manchester fears that using the ‘g-word’ could result in pupils who are changing sex being ‘misgendered’.

Pupils are likely to be addressed as ‘students’ instead.

However despite the ban, the 1,350-pupil school has no plans to drop the term from its name.

The headmaster of the school wants to ensure that they’re being inclusive of any girls who “no longer identify” as girls. The Daily Mail spoke to a number of parents and other members of the community, some of whom seemed entirely baffled. One parent is quoted as saying, “It seems a bit potty to me. They are talking about diversity, but it’s a girls only school. How does that work?”

Good question. The answer is that it doesn’t.

Another went on Twitter to provide a bit of dark humor, saying, “Altrincham Grammar School for Gender Neutrals doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.”

Sadly, this isn’t a joking matter. What adults do in their own free time is up to them, providing they aren’t impeding the rights of anyone else. But these are children we’re talking about. It’s tough enough trying to figure out what to do to help kids being raised in homes with SJW parents who are filling their heads with nonsense, but when the school starts playing along it provides the stamp of societal authority to the concept. This is how we started down the long, ugly road to doctors actually injecting children with foreign substances to hold off the onset of puberty. And owing to fears of backlash from the forces of political correctness, nobody is protecting these children.

Welcome to the culture wars, England. We wish you the best of luck, but it’s not looking too good for you a the moment.
