Another bad beer, another lowbrow, gimmicky ad. This isn’t the first “edgy” spot RR’s pushed online; the beer ape viral video from December was a smash, with more than a million views as of this writing. They’re playing this off as too controversial for TV (replete with a faux apology) but one look at that overflowing RR bottle at the end tells me it probably never made it onto the tube in the first place.

Between this and the Bud Light ad, it’s only a matter of time before Schlitz comes out with a spot featuring full frontal.
