Mexican FM: if Guard detains anyone, we'll sue

Many thanks to Kid from Brooklyn for providing the link and the translation. Key graf:

KfB’s translation:

“If we begin to see a big wave of human rights abuses; if we see that the National Guard begins to take direct action against the President’s orders, such as detention, then we will direct more of our consulate personnel towards the border, and second…we would immediately begin filing lawsuits through our consulates, in those jurisdictions.

Nice to see the Mexican government following proper legal procedures in the context of immigration. For a change.

Update: Michelle has the results of the Senate vote today, and she’s making a list.

Update: Unabashed open-border advocate/”journalist” Geraldo Rivera: “Get ready, everybody, for $10 artichokes.”
