Is it too much to ask that a president who is hellbent on leaving our country’s borders wide open be expected to at least keep track of the illegal aliens that are here? Apparently it is.

This is an incompetent administration. A 61-page report produced by the Republican House Judiciary Committee staff points to how the Biden administration is failing to monitor those who have illegally crossed the southern border. The number of illegal alien encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border exceeded 2.2 million in the first 11 months of FY 2023. The report also shows that the government has “no confirmed departure” for more than 2.4 million illegal aliens encountered since January 2021.

The numbers continue to explode. Border Patrol agents aren’t being allowed to do their jobs, instead they are put behind desks and tasked with processing paperwork. The lack of law enforcement on the border contributes to the rise in illegal entries.

“Because of the unprecedented border crisis, some Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers have been forced to abandon arrests and removals of aliens, including criminal aliens, to process the illegal aliens who have arrived at the southwest border,” the report states. “Meanwhile, the Biden Administration’s own policies and so-called enforcement ‘priorities’ have contributed to reduced arrests and lower removals of aliens.”

“The Committee and Subcommittee will continue to conduct oversight of the Biden Administration’s radical, open-borders immigration policies,” it adds. “This interim staff report highlights the failures of President Biden’s immigration agenda and helps to inform the House on legislative reforms to secure the border, reform immigration law, and end the far left’s policy incentives driving the crisis at the border.”

The Biden administration continues to insist that the southern border is secured and closed. This is an outright lie. For the 31st consecutive month, border encounters have exceeded 100,000. That means that the number has reached at least 100,000 every month since Biden took office in 2021. In September the number was 260,000, an all-time record number. It’s unreal to imagine the amount of people invading our country month after month with no slowdown in sight. In fact, the illegal entries are accelerating.

The number of ‘gotaways’ is also unsustainable. More than 1.7 million have illegally crossed the border and escaped. Instead of turning themselves in to claim asylum, they run and move into the interior of the country without apprehension. The number of gotaways since January 2021 is unknown, but there are millions at this point.

To recap, the report shows that during the Biden presidency, through the end of March, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reported more than 5 million border encounters. Of that staggering number, more than 2.46 million had “no confirmed departure” from the United States, which means they have remained in the country.

Naturally, the White House denies the report’s findings. As they do, they blame Republicans for the Biden border crisis.

“This so-called report is full of lies from House Republicans who continue to play politics while sabotaging President Biden’s work to ramp up enforcement and personnel at the border,” a White House spokesperson told Fox News Digital in a statement.

The statement added that the president has requested $4 billion from Congress months ago to deploy thousands more troops and border agents to the border, install new support officers with new equipment, and fund “new detection technology” to intercept the flow of fentanyl across the border.

“House Republicans have refused to act on this request and provide DHS the tools to safely and humanely manage the Southwest Border, they have been pre-occupied posturing and bickering,” the spokesperson continued.

What a joke. The only person “sabotaging President Biden’s work” is President Biden. House Republicans have passed bills to assist with the southern border. Perhaps the White House should talk to Chuck Schumer and the Senate Democrats who are not working with House Republicans. The truth is that Biden doesn’t care. He instigated the humanitarian and national security crisis on the border. It is intentional.

What about the illegal aliens who are on the terror watchlist? NSC spokesperson John Kirby conveniently has no information about that.

Shouldn’t the National Security Council spokesperson be able to answer that question? It’s a pretty basic question. These are unserious people. This is why Biden’s America looks like it does. Daily chaos on the southern border takes a huge toll on this country.

As Hugh Hewitt pointed out, what’s to stop something like what is happening in Israel from happening here? The terrorists see what is happening on our border. Biden’s border crisis is a national security threat.

Processing an asylum claim can take up to eight years. That is millions of cases clogging the system for many years. Joe Biden did this. He is responsible and has to be held accountable for whatever happens.
