Poll: ObamaCare’s unpopularity hits new high
The poll shows 49 percent of Americans say they believe the Affordable Care Act is a bad idea. That’s the highest number recorded on this question since the poll began measuring it in 2009. Just 37 percent say the plan is a good idea.
As the political battle over implementation of the law heats up in Washington, the numbers mark an increase in unpopularity since July 2012, right after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Obama’s overhaul. Back then, 44 percent of NBC/WSJ poll respondents called it a bad idea, vs. 40 percent who called it a good one…
For individuals, the current poll also finds 38 percent of respondents saying that they (and their families) will be worse off under the health care law. That’s the highest percentage of respondents to express a negative outlook toward “Obamacare” since 2010, when the president signed this signature piece of legislation into law following an extended, bruising battle in Congress.

Obama is gonna give a speech on health care in California tomorrow. This poll is probably a big reason why. And if it’s this unpopular now, just imagine how it’ll be doing a year from now.
BTW, on the topic of the Limbaugh Theorem, I sincerely hope a majority of the American people aren’t going to tell pollsters that they don’t hold the President responsible for a law commonly known as OBAMACARE.

and yet they proceed forward now knowing all of the details, costs, weaknesses, cronyism, etc. involved…Democrats, the Party of Brilliance….

How come polls from other organizations have obamacare unpopularity in the high 60% range? Oh, I know – NBC.

Wait until the full measure of the disaster hits next year, these will be the good ol’ days for HHS.

Huh? It was all done behind closed doors without any input from the minority party whatsoever. How was it a “bruising battle”?

When it comes to economics, do Lefties ever get tired of conservatives being right about everything? Is this why they hate us so much?

You were probably being sarcastic, but you’re actually dead on the money.
It is literally built in to human beings to know when they’re doing something extremely stupid, illegal, or morally wrong. Overriding that internal warning requires a constant choice to do so, and it often makes you bitter or angry. You see this in everything right down to a child snapping at his mother for deliberately answering a homework problem with a smart-alec answer right before he gets a spanking.
All but the most ice-hearted and/or mentally retarded of liberals know that they are wrong, LAUGHABLY wrong, and hate with a burning passion those who point out their error.

When these massive distortions hit with full force next year, there’s a good chance this stagnant economy will go into recession. Add in IRS enforcement of Obamacare’s provisions, and it will be a political disaster for Democrats.
Unfortunately, it will be an economic disaster for the rest of us.

Don’t forget to tie this to the politicization of the IRS and, now, the NSA collecting domestic phone calls.
If I’m a GOP candidate for office anywhere other than the deepest blue states or districts, I’d be talking about nothing other than the languishing economy, Obamacare, and the IRS. And pictures of every nefarious IRS actor would be tied to my Dem opponent.

All polls are two weeks behind.
By early July, full scale panic for the progs and Dems.
All the left is banking on, are the SCOTUS rulings.
But, if they don’t go their way – meaning inflaming their base – it only gets worse.
Biggest irony? Roberts heavy influence by cultural zeitgeist.

OT: Today’s the day a House committee tees off on the IRS for the convention spending. Will the Dem reps even bother to show up?
Hemmer has Chaffetz on his show now. The House has invited the guy who played Spock in the IRS spoof video on Star Trek. Holy Shite. This hearing is going to be unbelievable.
BuckeyeSam on June 6, 2013 at 9:20 AM
He’s doing it in Cali because they look to gain the hardest rate spikes.
Which will have a wonderful ripple effect and sink their “positive growth” by tax hike.
Pure schadenfreude.

The liberals that post on these Obamacare polling articles are priceless. They still think the law is watered down because of the republicans even though it was a 100% dem carp sandwhich. Plus they cite the debunked article that says California exchange prices are lower than expected which they feel bodes well for the law. You can’t blame republicans for any of this disaster… And there isn’t enough lefty propaganda to hide the impending train wreck. It’s gonna be a delicious mess… Just wish it didn’t affect me.

Remind me again what’s to stop me from dropping my health insurance at 11:59PM on Dec 31st knowing that I can get a cancer diagnosis 1 minute later and be guaranteed coverage?

Indeed. The Limbaugh Theorem works especially for obamacare. There really isn’t much evidence he had much to do with it at all!

Does the IRS know you frequent this site? Then I suggest you keep your insurance.
