Worker admits to snipping the spines of ten babies in Gosnell case
A medical assistant told a jury Tuesday that she snipped the spines of at least 10 babies during unorthodox abortions at a West Philadelphia clinic, at the direction of the clinic’s owner.
And she said Dr. Kermit Gosnell and another employee did the same to terminate pregnancies.
Adrienne Moton’s testimony came in the capital murder trial of Gosnell, who owned the clinic and is on trial in the deaths of a patient and seven babies. Prosecutors accuse him of killing late-term, viable babies after they were delivered alive, in violation of state abortion laws.
Gosnell’s lawyer disputes that any babies were born alive and challenges the gestational age of the aborted fetuses.

Democrats in the 1990s: “Gun confiscation will never happen in the US. Just give up.”
Also, I think we should give up on shrinking government, never going to happen. Ditto with reforming entitlements and rolling back tax increases. We need to focus on fights we can win. Now, expanding entitlements and spending more money, might be able to make some progress there. /

Oh, look, everybody. We have another pro-death ghoul in the troll roster.
I guess Armin, thuja and the other usual suspects were busy today.

What is the approximate age threshold for which a child crosses the line between tissue mass and political pawns useful against Second Amendment rights?
NMRN123 on March 20, 2013 at 10:34 AM
The answer is when they’re born. And I support gun rights so don’t even bring that up.

Gun confiscation will never happen either. It’s an absurd pipe dream for gun owners to be heroes by revolting against the govt.
Cutting spending and rolling back entitlements are easy.

Abortion will never be illegal in the US. Give up the fight, focus on one you can win.
Seven Seas on March 20, 2013 at 10:20 AM
You may as well give up on everything. With all respect, except for pushing back gun control for now, there’s few to no conservative victories lately. The conservative movement and it’s people are so split up it’ll probably never pull itself back together.
I think if you read a good cross section of Hot Air, a lot of the regulars are pro-abortion too.

Its so easy, it almost never happens. You’re as ineffectual at fiscal reform as social conservatives are with abortion.

You know, people like you may have won this debate. You’re no less a monster because you’ve won.

Hahaha! Yeah, so do the rest of the Marxists, they “support gun rights” but want to take our guns, sure we believe that…
So before they are born, it’s okay that they are killed and afterwards it wrong?
What difference does it make?
NMRN123 on March 20, 2013 at 11:12 AM
This post should be promoted. People need to be reminded of what goes on at just about any abortion clinic that routinely performs late-term abortions.

Could it be the age of the kid who’s pic was posted on FB with his new weapon ???
pambi on March 20, 2013 at 11:18 AM
But once babies are born, as at Gosnell’s office, if they’re spinal cords are snipped… that’s murder right? Or do only desired humans have a right to live? And do you qualify?
theCork on March 20, 2013 at 11:19 AM
Gosnell’s office and the other charnal houses that still operate remind me of how progressives once were so supportive of eugenics and Hitler that they had to switch their political label to “liberal” once WW2 started. Guess they don’t need the mask anymore. They still support a lot of the eugenics ideas about only preserving those deemed fit, combined with the proven-wrong-so-many-times ideas of Malthus. They really are the pro-Death party.
theCork on March 20, 2013 at 11:28 AM
That’s nonsense. There are worlds between saying or even believing something stupid and killing a baby.
If Gosnell had voted for killing babies, he would be in the Senate. Maybe he even would be president.
As it is, he just did what Obama voted for. It wouldn’t even be a crime, if Obama had had his way.

The fight against slavery wasn’t easy, either.

Mourdock did nothing wrong.

What is with this kind of thinking? “I vehemently disagree with ‘something’. Oh, you did ‘something’ and I love you? I vehemently agree with ‘something’.”
Do we not have adults anymore? Are adults not capable of separating feelings of love with moral rectitude and convictions?
Look, my grandma is a tax cheat. She gathers (and keeps) her son’s SS money while her son lives with my parents. I still love her, but I don’t agree with her actions. I can separate my feelings towards her and also realize that what she is doing and has done in the past is wrong. Why is that so hard?
cptacek on March 20, 2013 at 1:29 PM
Your president disagrees. He thinks allowing someone to kill babies after they are born is just peachy.
