How can you be against that? I love the wording of these things.

Well, since more people oppose it, there’s no reason not to jam that down our throats.

“Single payer” means somebody else, right?

Hispanics overwhelmingly approve of it. Better get to work on it, Republicans.

After the GOP gets done selling out on gay marriage and amnesty, guess what’s next boys and girls? Obamacare II: The Public Option Strikes Back, followed by Obamacare III: Revenge of the Single Payer.

What we need is some kinda single payer system for lunch breaks at Popeye’s!

Single payer will be Hillarycare I. Or ChristieCare, maybe ChristieCardioCare, but probably not Rubio’s Care.

OMG that’s exactly what I was thinking. I mean for days I have hear people all over these boards and politicians say but the polls support abortion, gay marriage, amnesty etc… so I guess the polls showing that Obamacare is getting more popular means we support that as well too.
melle1228 on March 20, 2013 at 7:33 PM
This will be just like gay marriage and everything else. The media and democrats will keep bashing people over the heads with it and keep demonizing people who are against it until people just get sick of the effort to oppose it and cowardly change their view as not to be demonized anymore.

The theory of it is nice (as long as you aren’t big on individual freedom).
Government pays. They can force prices low. You have coverage for anything your heart desires (or medically needs, anyway).
The polls need to be more honest:
Do you support seizing the wealth of one group in order to pay for the healthcare of another group?
Do you support single-payer healthcare if it results in wait times of years for critical surgeries and treatments?
Do you support placing the government (or a government appointed panel) in charge of which treatments you would be allowed to seek?
Do you support forcing the price of medicines low when the end result will be less R&D leading to fewer breakthroughs and advancements in medical treatments?
You get the idea.
