The night Planet Liberalism turned on Bob Woodward
Katrina vanden Heuvel, The Nation:
Smart @thenation interns & young folks have no idea who Woodward is but dc establishment freaked about his critique of WH & sequester.
Neera Tanden, Center for American Progress:
My amateur advice: stop cooperating with Woodward in the first place.
Jason Linkins, Huffington Post:
I think Woodward will find people will stop yelling at him the very minute he decides to stop sucking so much at his job.

Blowback

This is where we are in American politics. The Left assumes the media’s total cooperation and anyone who steps out of line and screws up their messaging must be smeared as a right wing stooge.

Shame if Woodward were to ruin his career at this point…

Woodward fed the media tiger in the hope that it would eat him last.
Chomp, chomp, chomp.

Sorry Neera Tanden, your advice doesn’t even qualify as amateur, moronic and imbecilic, yes.
As for you Jason Linkins, If you didn’t make a Dyson Vacuum look like it doesn’t suck at all, you would never have never posted something that makes you look like a 14 years old crack baby huffing paint with a plastic bag over you head.
I may not care for Bob Woodward, even perhaps will spend a bit of quality schadenfreude time giggling over Bob’s predicament, but Bob Woodward is sadly and tragically perhaps the closest thing left in this Sad Republic to an actual Journalist.
Neera and Jason, just a couple of Marxist Progressive Liberal boot licking toadies who will be forgotten long before they are even dead.

There is a cognitive dissidence issue here.
Which is correct Woodward is a liberal and is pointing out the Liberal Emperor is naked; he is attacked for telling the truth; which side do you take?
Answer; attack the messenger so you can ignore the problem.

Not buying this.

Planet Liberalism seems to have an awful lot in common with Planet Bizzaro.

Juan Williams, Bob Woodward..
A pattern?

I will laugh…supposedly people keep asking him to produce the e-mail(??). And it makes me chuckle…No one EVER questioned “Deep Throat’s” claims or even his/her existence…but Deep Throat was wielded against Nixon, so proof was less necessary.

Considering Bob hasn’t been
firedforced to ‘retire’ from the WaPo yet…To a lesser extent, you could also add Doug Schoen and Pat Caddell to that list.

Surprised no one here has commented on the fact yet that this guy is OPENLY saying the press’ job is to protect Obama. OPENLY saying it. In a way, his criticism is on target, Woodward is doing a pretty terrible job defending Obama.

Remember when speaking truth to power was “the highest form of patriotism?” Good times…

Here’s the conspiracy: Bob Woodward has a new book out, “The Price of Politics”. He and his journo friends and bloggers keep his name in the press to help him sell books.
When another one of the gang releases a book, they’ll make up something to get that person as much attention.
BTW, Watergate was 40 years ago, I’m surprised anyone under 50 knows who he is. “All the presidents men” puts me to sleep.

Are we ready to fight yet?
Do we remain flailing at the injustice of it all or do we organize and fight?
GardenGnome on February 28, 2013 at 11:11 AM
An internet nobody from the media is going to pass journalistic judgment on the most preeminent newspaper reporter of the last 60 years? Really? “Forget it Jake – it’s Obamatown”
tommyboy on February 28, 2013 at 11:11 AM
What are you talking about..Jason got 121 comments on his latest article and he got a cool Huffington Post Writer Badge for pointing out what meanies the republicans are.
HumpBot Salvation on February 28, 2013 at 11:21 AM
Which made them uniquely qualified to work at your hyperpartisan rant shack, since they managed to get there without knowing one of the biggest names in journalism over the past 40 years.
