Scott Walker: Call Obama’s sequester bluff by letting him choose which cuts to make
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) on Monday urged lawmakers to call the president’s “bluff” and empower the White House to make targeted spending cuts to avoid sequestration.
“They should find an alternative, they should do their job and why not empower the president and his administration. Give them the authority within their budgets to make those changes so they don’t have to do some of the things they are talking about,” said Walker on “Fox & Friends.”…
“Call the bluff, give them the authority to do this as governors, Democrat and Republican alike, we have to do this all the time, we have to make those tough choices,” he said. “Allow them to make the cuts in a way that is much more responsible.”

These are Not Cuts!!!
The sequester, a stupid name, deals with the slowdown in spending hikes.
Obama is a charlatanic thug, a Punk.

Scott, Scott, now YOU want bho to make a presidental decision on anything? Silly boy, bho just blames everyone else for him not doing HIS job and he will keep doing it because NO one stops him?
BTW, y’all realize this? Per Rush, “Guess what happens at the end of next month, folks? We run out of money, for real, government-wide. That’s right! The continuing resolution that funds the government under which we’re now operating, runs out in toto at the end of March.” -Rush WE are going to go through all this name/blame calling all over again! It is never-ending with bho/team!

Sounds like a plan.
A plan that the GOP will surely find a way to screw up.
If they had any brains at all, they could be playing 0bama like a fiddle. But, alas….

Republicans should stop playing obama’s little game, and speak the truth about the fake sequester “cuts”.

Even better, pass a continuing resolution for the President to spend tax revenues any way he wants to, and adjourn until 2014. Having his ability to borrow cut-off at the knees would make the next year quite interesting.

Liars and the lying Liars that they are

I get the rationale behind this, but I’m always queasy with the idea of rubber stamping any more power for a tyrant like Obama.
Besides, what’s supposed to happen? Obama has to choose to cut stuff and then anything that hits home and creates inconvenience will be called “Obama’s cuts.” By whom? The Goebbels media? The vapid low-information voters that haven’t managed to take in the fact that this guy is a trainwreck?
We need another play in our book beyond “make the left take the responsibility.” Unless the play is reworked to include rooting out the Communists in our news media, and I don’t see that happening.

Scott Walker is cool.

This would be a great idea if Obama was held accountable. But he won’t be, so no.
SAZMD on February 25, 2013 at 4:57 PM
And what if he says, “Okay let’s cut the Marines, or get rid of all armored vehicles,” or any other absurd idea? The Republicans howl and then Pres Obama leans back and claims “I offered a reasonabile solution, but the Republicans wouldn’t meet me half-way.”
Current way may be painful, but it will work.
No reason to screw with it.

Another good governor

Sorry, but it is not irresponsible to cut the growth of government. There are no absolute cuts. There are only cuts to the rate of growth.
I expected something a bit more honest from Walker.
ButterflyDragon on February 25, 2013 at 5:23 PM
Walker almost has this right. These questions need to be asked of the Democrat Senators. They always seem unable to answer and when pushed they start choking on their lies.
A follow up question about the nonexistent budget and they are TOAST!

Scott Walker is an amnesty shill. It’s no wonder he’s wrong here as well.
