My friend, I learned a long time ago that dealing in absolutes leads to failure. that is very important when trying to sway a voter. If they see you as a liar you end up damaging your cause.

I don’t mind doing a bit of research since I continue to work to clear up the 0bamaganda published by the American[???] media. Real Americans demand to know the facts and if I refuse to dig for those, who will?

I have always been against the open primaries/caucuse. We saw what happened in 2008 but no State has corrected that.

I haven’t read Erickson’s comments yet, but can’t believe it could be any worse than Levins.

All? I doubt that, and while I know next to nothing about politics in Virginia it does seem that the majority of conservatives and the TEA Partys did support him since he promised when he ran for governor that he’d never raise taxes.

I expect he will get an ear full when he goes to CPAC and he already has Erick Erickson calling for his head.

Everyone knows that we take a risk when we support any candidate but if you don’t bet you’ll never win. That doesn’t excuse the people who do ZERO research of their candidates though.

Um, we got stuck with Snyder when the democrats crossed lines in our primary to vote him in as our candidate for Governor, but that backfired on THEM and their efforts to recall Rick crashed and burned.

In case you missed it, here’s the backstory. As the Wall Street Journal reported, “On Friday Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and a GOP-run legislature approved a five-year, $6 billion transportation bill financed almost entirely with higher sales and car taxes.”

My reaction: ho-hum. Virginia, particularly northern Virginia, needs a lot in the way of improvements in public infrastructure. The gridlock up here is atrocious. Infrastructure is one of those functions that government can, does, and should perform.

Mark just wants to get the word out. Usually I listen to his show later, as you can hear all 3 hours in just 118 minutes without the commercial breaks. Mark has been more relevant lately than most of the conservative talk radio hosts. His “inside baseball” tips and knowledge gives good perspective on things.

I generally swore off talk radio after November 6, but Mark is one of my two favorite hosts. As he and I both live in Virginia, I may have to catch today’s podcast. Thanks for the suggestion.
