I also never understand where the idea comes from that there is any discrimination against Hispanics – who are of the same European decent as Italians, French, German, etc.

Sure, some south American Hispanics can make some kind of 1/2 credible claim if they are descendents from native peoples (Incan, Mayan, Aztex, etc) as at least they don’t necessarily look/sound like every other white guy out there.

But “Hispanics” like Menendez, who claim to be discriminated against, when the guy is whiter than I am, is absurd. You would think that the race warriors at La Raza and the like would not want whiteys like Menendez trespassing on their schtick.

Why are black churches routinely allowed to have political rallies in their religious proceedings?

This church, and others like it, that allow politicians to come in and give a political speech should lose their tax exemption.

In what world is Menendez calling political opponents racist part of any christian religious experience? How do the reverends, et al of this Church believe it has anything to do with their faith? Unless their faith is liberal politics, of course.

Menendez is clearly a “white” Hispanic.

That changes everything.
