“What it says, is he only goes on shows of people that go easy on him”
Jim Pinkerton, contributing editor for The American Conservative magazine, said that Ed Henry‘s message that this was “about transparency” and not about golf, was lost on most of the “mainstream media” because of Henry’s affiliation with Fox. He added, “the mainstream media are so ‘Obamaphilic’ that they just clobbered the White House Press Corps for daring to ask questions.”
Daily Beast columnist Kirsten Powers agreed with POLITICO’s assessment that President Obama is a “puppet master” who “only wants to talk to people who aren’t going to give him tough questions.” For that reason, Powers said Fox News Sunday‘s Chris Wallace “should be be proud that the president won’t go on his show at this point. What it says, is he only goes on shows of people that go easy on him and so that means these other people who call themselves journalists should start asking ‘why is the president so willing to come on my show so often?’”

I understand what she means but her point is hypothetical.
It assumes that these “journalist” desire to seek the truth or do not delight in being able to personally help Obama push his agenda.
Those people could not care less what the people who do not support Obama think of them.
They are the true believers.
They are the fanatics and they are thrilled to carry the message.

The comments on Mediaite defending a lapdog press and a politician who refuses to answer for himself are just terrifying.

It is transparently clear that Obama doesn’t want to actually be questioned on his beliefs or plans because he transparently knows that they won’t stand up to scrutiny.
Heck, even “Gun Nuts” go on Piers “Musket” Morgan’s show….but Obama doesn’t have the wherewithal to do the same for Fox.
Yeah…I just called Obama a coward.
BTW…let me add: Obama may be a U.S. Citizen, but he is not an “American” in the traditional sense.

Obama believes his moral authority comes from people agreeing with him, especially when public opinion polls are on his side. The truth is moral authority comes from being willing to test your ideas “in the arena” — to defend them against those who disagree with you.
It’s a wonder how this nothing ever got to be President.

Brietbart was right. The real enemy is the mainstream media.
