The most miserable city in the U.S. is…
With its violent crimes, high unemployment, dwindling population and financial crisis, Detroit was named on Thursday as the most miserable city in the United States.
It toppled Miami, which held the title last year, and surpassed Flint, Michigan, Rockford and Chicago in Illinois and Modesto, California, which rounded out the five most unhappy urban areas.
“Detroit’s problems are hardly news. It has been in a four-decade decline paralleling the slide in the U.S. auto industry,” according to Forbes.com, which compiles the yearly ranking.

Yeah, but some houses in Detroit can be had for $60. C’mon, admit it. It’s everybody’s dream to move into a neighborhood where the houses cost only $60.

I guessed my hometown of DETROIT before I even clicked on the Links. I never realized what a complete dump Detroit was until I started traveling. Thanks UAW, Democrats, Liberals !

I’m sure the liberal democrats running the cities have absolutely nothing to do with these ratings.

Plus, you don’t have to pay property taxes. At least, no one does.

Those Detroit homes are notoriously well ventilated by all the machine gun bullet holes and should one be too lazy or busy hiding to light the fireplace some crackhead or other junkie will probably happen along, smash through a door or window and light that fireplace (and your entire house too) for you.
