John McCain gets some angry responses at home on immigration
Also Tuesday, McCain hosted two town hall meetings in Arizona, during which he defended his immigration plan to upset residents concerned about border security. …
During a heated town hall gathering in the Phoenix suburb of Sun Lakes, McCain said the border near Yuma is largely secure, but said smugglers are using the border near Tucson to pump drugs into Phoenix. He said immigration reform should be contingent on better border security that must rely largely on technology able to detect border crossings. …
“There are 11 million people living here illegally,” he said. “We are not going to get enough buses to deport them.”
Some audience members shouted out their disapproval.
One man yelled that only guns would discourage illegal immigration. Another man complained that illegal immigrants should never be able to become citizens or vote. A third man said illegal immigrants were illiterate invaders who wanted free government benefits.

He’ll “mend fences” the next time he runs and becomes a “Conservative” for the 9 months leading up to the election. Arizona…how many times are you going to fall for this sh*t?

This tottering olde fool should be strung up by his arms or put in a tiger cage for the horrible things he has done to this country.

Fail.
If we can afford to build enough prisons to incarcerate over 2 million people who have broken laws here in America, then we can find a way to come up with enough buses, boats, trains, cattle-cars ……. whatever, to deport foreign lawbreakers back to their countries of origin.
Takes a backbone Johnny-boy, and a plan that doesn’t take into account how many votes politicians may gain or lose.
fogw on February 21, 2013 at 8:11 AM
You don’t have to get any buses, John. Secure the border, tighten up systems like e-Verify, and don’t challenge laws that states pass to enforce citizenship. Lo and behold, the illegals will transport themselves back across the border.
Dude, that was really in poor taste.

Why doesn’t that conjure up lovely memories for everyone, sure to guarantee a Republican electoral wave.

Typical libtard, only thinking about votes.

Make sure those cattle-cars are full of families so patriotic American children observing can drag one finger across their throat as it rattles by down the tracks.

I wish someone would follow up when he makes stupid statements like “we’re a Judeo-Christian nation” or illegals “are still God’s children.”
What exactly is your point John? That Judeo-Christian nations have no right to enforce immigration laws? Or do Judeo-Christian nations have no right to enforce any laws at all? After all, other types of law-breakers are “God’s children” also, are they not? Should we turn the other cheek when rapists, killers, bank robbers, tax cheats, drug dealers, etc., violate the law? Many of them are poor and come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and lots of them have children. Shouldn’t we just overlook their lawlessness in the spirit of “Judeo Christian” kindness? Or is it only certain types of law-breakers who deserve to be forgiven, and even rewarded, for their lawlessness?

You are a sick puppy Dude.

Just once, I’d like to see him and his pro-amnesty ilk back up their “11 million illegals” figure. I call BS on it. Illegals, by definition, do their best to live in the shadows, at least as far as government interactions are concerned. There could be more than 11 million, there could be less. But I’m willing to bet that number is just pulled out of someone’s behind.
Shump on February 21, 2013 at 8:49 AM
Right, because returning to Mexico a Mexican who has illegally entered the U.S. is the same as putting a Nazi-era Jew in a cattle car and sending them off to the death camps. Exactly the same.
You make about as much sense as McCain does.
AZCoyote on February 21, 2013 at 8:50 AM
My reference was to various modes of transportation. Period.
How do you equate sending illegal immigrants back to their country with sending law abiding citizens to their death?
fogw on February 21, 2013 at 8:53 AM
I’m glad sensible Republicans are looking at solutions to this problem without paying one iota of attention to the loons who envision massive deportations in cattle-cars. Why, even Sarah Palin who envisions “prove you work productively and stay”.
Marcus on February 21, 2013 at 9:00 AM
I have no sympathy for lawbreakers. If the Mexicans can get here by swimming a stream in the dead of night or crawling through ten miles of dirt tunnels, then sending them back in cattle-cars would be an upgrade.
Why don’t you let a few dozen move into your house if you’re so concerned with their welfare? Yeh, right.
fogw on February 21, 2013 at 9:08 AM
That is another problem with this shamnesty bill is it will probably be open-ended meaning 8 million could be legalized or 20 million. Who knows? I’m totally against this, but the RINOs should at least put a hard number on how many can be legalized.

YOU ARE. You are the one who talked about deporting people in cattle cars. It’s effin offensive. That you and others here are brain dead as to the image in projects is a mystery.

Thousands of Americans have been raped/murdered by illegals thanks to douchebags like you who turned a blind eye to this problem.
