“I don’t debate with Israelis”
“You said ‘we’,” said Galloway. “Are you an Israeli?”
“I am, yes,” Aslan-Levy replied.
“I don’t debate with Israelis. I have been misled, sorry,” Galloway said, standing and putting on his coat, then reiterating as he walked out: “I don’t recognise Israel and I don’t debate with Israelis.”
The Oxford student newspaper Cherwell – which has video footage of Galloway’s exit – quoted Aslan-Levy as saying afterwards: “I am appalled that an MP would storm out of a debate with me for no reason other than my heritage. To refuse to talk to someone just because of their nationality is pure racism, and totally unacceptable for a member of parliament.”

He’s right. You debate or wrestle an Israeli, you can get joo cooties. That’s why wrestling is no longer part of the Olympics.

I don’t recognize Galloway and I refuse to give a flip about this alleged human.

I’d like to lock this guy in a room with Algore and watch them debate which of them is the most wonderful.
Well, maybe not watch them.

Intolerance is alright, as long as it’s directed at jooos. Or Christians.
UltimateBob on February 21, 2013 at 11:52 AM
With everything designated a hate crime in the UK, I’m surprised he can get away with this.
Blake on February 21, 2013 at 11:55 AM
I thought this was going to be a quote from Hagel.
Dingbat63 on February 21, 2013 at 11:55 AM
Gee – could it have anything to do with the fact that Galloway converted to Islam over ten years ago?
Pork-Chop on February 21, 2013 at 11:55 AM
Israel should grant Galloway citizenship and send him a passport.

MY gosh, galloway sounds like he needs to be with bho and his team with that hateful attitude about Israelis?
Our home loves and prays for Israel.

I have to wonder about the community who votes this clown into office. I thought his seat was a high muzzie area, but it’s east yorkshire, which could or could not be high muzzie.
Blake on February 21, 2013 at 12:07 PM
And, then leak through some tinfoil hat website that his conversion was false and he’s been a Mossad agent all along. Then *duck*.
GWB on February 21, 2013 at 12:15 PM
Um. Gotta problem here, George.
You cannot “not” debate that which you do not recognise.
Not even the Palestinians make that mistake.
It’s “The Zionist entity”, doncha know.
Jabberwock on February 21, 2013 at 12:21 PM
Bigotry. Not racism. Israeli citizens are every race there is.
Sorry to nitpick.
Ben Hur on February 21, 2013 at 12:21 PM
Pure poetry, that.

The same used to be true of American Presidents, but today the moderates and liberals have changed that.
what IS the difference between liberals and moderates? I ask because I see none.
DannoJyd on February 21, 2013 at 12:23 PM
I wonder if Galloway still recognizes the secular/CofE UK either.
Seth Halpern on February 21, 2013 at 12:31 PM
Why was/is anyone surprised by this? This is George Galloway, a known slug and dirtball.
Meanwhile, the idiot Israeli seemed to be promoting the suicidal “piece process” that has been nothing less than an unmitigated failure every single step of the way.
Oxford seems to specialize in stupidity. And most of Oxford pretty much agrees with Galloway, anyhow, along with the rest of British academia which had attempted and implemented their demented boycotts of various Israeli items and people. I believe it was Oxford (or maybe Cambridge) where a professor had advised an Israeli not to try to speak with him because he didn’t deal with Israelis. That guy is still on staff.
This is Great Britain. They hate Israel and have done everything they could to insure the death of millions of Jews there. They are disappointed that the arabs didn’t take care of the dirty work back in ’48, when the Brits had set them up with every advantage necessary to do it as they left the mandate.
ThePrimordialOrderedPair on February 21, 2013 at 12:38 PM
Wait – if he believes Israel doesn’t exist, how can there be any Israelis?
The Rogue Tomato on February 21, 2013 at 12:53 PM
“i don’t talk to jews”.
homesickamerican on February 21, 2013 at 12:54 PM
BTW, the professor I mentioned above didn’t say that he didn’t deal with Israelis, but that he didn’t deal with anyone who supported the “occupation” in any way and the Israeli kid had just gotten out of the army. Same difference.

Here is the story (from 2003) Oxford professor suspended for rejecting Israeli

That was the one I was thinking of. Thanks.
ThePrimordialOrderedPair on February 21, 2013 at 1:56 PM
Good f**king grief. I’m about as tired of the Israel-first crowd in general and paid operatives like Kunt18 in particular as it is possible to be, you would never see me do something like this.
Sheesh. Liberals: the original and actual anti-semites and racists!
MelonCollie on February 21, 2013 at 2:18 PM
He more Islamist then real Islamists.
On that note, Galloway is probably the most disgusting on the face of the planet.
Lance Murdock on February 21, 2013 at 2:26 PM
You don’t know about The Exception Clause? It works like this.
You add “except for Israel” (and sometimes, “except for Jews”) to a standard rule, because that’s how things work. So, the reason Galloway can get away with refusing to talk to a student because he’s Israeli?
Everything is designated a hate crime in the UK, except for Jews. That’s The Exception Clause.
