The most conservative member of the Senate in 2012 was…
Risch, a former governor, entered the Senate in 2009 at the age of 65. While not a figure with much national press since then, Risch has been a true stalwart when it comes to his conservative voting record, most recently being one of just eight Republican senators to vote against the Violence Against Women Act.

McConnell probably won’t even take his calls.

I’m inclined to think the “never heard of him” factor is a plus. That likely means that Senator Risch isn’t embroiled in some self-inflicted scandal, nor is he chasing camera crews, nor trying to find an unoccupied section of Obama’s groinorectal region.

Orrin Hatch is number 10? Cornyn and Kyl make the list? I don’t know how much faith I have in that list.

Cornyn edged out Demint? Gawd, I love living in Texas!

A grain of salt might be in order. I think the list measures voting records, more than RINOism or advocacy for liberty-based policies.

Rubio is not in the top 15? I find that very hard to believe…

Only one specific bill mentioned: Violence Against Women Act.
It’s shameless. Not even trying to hide it anymore.

So many reasons to detest: McCain, McConnell, Ms Lindsey, Rubio, Flake and so many others. I conclude that the Rs are often bigger charlatans than the leftist. The latter are what they say they are.

Cornyn at No. 2? I need to check out the inputs on this scoring system.

Meh. I don’t trust their algorithm if they put Cornyn at No. 2. Simple as that.
besser tot als rot on February 20, 2013 at 1:30 PM
Yeah not buying the list. Have we checked out who made the list. Really when McConnell and a couple of others like Cornyn hit high on that list I have to wonder.

A few don’t make sense, but good on Risch and most of the others on the list that actually deserve to be there, I guess.
