I strongly disagree. Only cowardly administrations that have agendas to hide will follow this approach. A true, principaled leader that believes in himself and his (or her) ageanda will actually communicate with the people and want journalists to do their job, for better or worse…and let the chips fall where they may.

You may be on to something, renalin. There’s a sure-fire plan to get a conservative back in the White House. We simply need to start courting the media, telling them that once we get our guy in, they can go back to the glory days of hard-hitting, investigative reporting, stunning exposes, and breaking stories of how the president likes to put live puppies in a blender.

I am loving their conundrum. The only way to gain access is to start reporting that Obama is precisely the person that conservatives have been saying he is long since before the 2008 election.
