White House press corps frustrated over lack of access to Obama
White House Correspondents Association President Ed Henry released a statement Sunday evening, saying that the press corps had not been given adequate access to the president and that the group would press for “transparency” in the future, according to a pool report.
“Speaking on behalf of the White House Correspondents Association, I can say a broad cross section of our members from print, radio, online and TV have today expressed extreme frustration to me about having absolutely no access to the President of the United States this entire weekend,” said Henry. “There is a very simple but important principle we will continue to fight for today and in the days ahead: transparency.”
President Obama is currently vacationing in Palm City, Fla., where is staying at The Floridian Yacht and Golf Club, a private resort. Earlier today, Obama hit the links with professional golfer Tiger Woods and resort owner Jim Crane.

Why? You never gave a damn about transparency before.

Oh…They will get over it.
They love that big lunk.
How can they stay mad at him.

Well, at least they have their priorities straight. They want “transparency” for the Obama/Tiger golf game. Benghazi… eh, not so much.

It’s like the Press Corps is the abused wife… “I know I shouldn’t be with him… but when he smiles, it’s like it’s 2006 all over again!”

WHY OFFER “ACCESS” TO THE COW, WHEN YOU CAN GET THE MILK FOR FREE?

My contact in the WH says this is a normal feature of the Presidential schedule, and is designed to provide an opportunity for the press corps to get any necessary dental work completed and to organize the new knee-pad distribution plan.

How did Fox (Ed Henry) pull off being the head of that association. I thought Bite Me’s legitimize media hated Fox?

Has there been any news on mo’s vacation yet? I haven’t seen any on her either. Wonder if we will get the taxpayers bill amount for these vacations?

When it comes to criticizing this White House, my guess is the other outlets are perfectly happy to allow the Fox guy to be the head of the association. Any blowback from Team Obama or the normal liberal outlets can just be channeled into their usual hatred of Fox, and justify them ignoring the complaint in a way they couldn’t if, say, the head of the White House Correspondents Association making the complaint was from The New York Times or NBC News.

No matter how he treats them, no matter how much he screws up, no matter now many people die, no matter how many people are suffering from his policies, no matter how much he evades, obfuscates and prevaricates, the MSM will continue to carry his water because they are like children in a Dickensian orphanage holding out their bowls and begging, “Please, sir, I want some more” in the form of an occasional pat on the head by their messiah.

The press does not realize that they would be exposing the hypocrisy that is the Obama family when they show him hobnobbing with golf celebrities and living as though he were the rich and famous, while he is condemning republicans for wanting to keep their own money. It is not a pretty picture, kind of like those Hawaiian vacations. They are so slavishly fawning they can’t help themselves.
