Rubio’s PAC sells more than $100,000 in water bottles
A source close to Rubio tells BuzzFeed that the water bottles, which were sold on the senator’s PAC website to anyone who makes a donation of $25 or more, sold like hotcakes. In the period since they went on sale Wednesday, more than 3,100 of the PAC’s “Marco Rubio Water Bottles” have been sold.
“Send the liberal detractors a message that not only does Marco Rubio inspire you…he hydrates you too,” the donation page reads.

So how did Rubio’s speech come off. I’m assuming that Grandpa liked it quite a bit.

That doesn’t seem like very many, really.

Rubio is a likable figure, hence the nonsense over a drink of water. Democrats can’t win the battle of ideas, so they attack Republicans with binders, big bird and water bottles. They’ll keep doing it until they lose with it because socialism isn’t going to reverse 200 years of history and start working all of the sudden. It’s just a matter if their efforts to dumb down the electorate can outpace the despair they’ve wrought – right now stupid has pulled ahead.

My dad said he liked the way he talked about the poor.

Rubio comes off as a sympathetic figure akin to Billy Jeff. One of the great advantages you can have in politics.

I know the libs will try to demonize him….like they do with every Republican. But sometimes the American people won’t buy the demonization.

The reaction from the mainstream media outlets tells volumes about how much they fear a serious run from Mr. Rubio.
Sure, he could have been perfect, but his quirks humanized him for John Q. Public. Funny how that works, huh?
Matt Lauer is having a hernia, I hear.

Wow, did Rubio get all choked up at the results?….
ChuckTX on February 17, 2013 at 10:30 PM
So we have Rubio with “Water-gate” and Jindal’s goofy entrance from his rebuttal in 2009….
Wow, now we just need Christie to do a rebuttal while cramming a doughnut in his mouth and we will be taken seriously…

Great thing about this incident is that Rubio shoved it back in their faces, which is not something that Romney ever did.
I think that it is the Joe Schmo average guy appeal.
Illinidiva on February 18, 2013 at 7:17 AM
Good for you, Rubio. Might as well make money over leftists gimmicks.

The TEA Party has devastatingly branded Rubio, Jeb Bush’s Waterboy!
Rubio has the same old dinosaur Bush mafia political consultants and handlers.
Barbara Bush’s rolodex represents the special interest corrupt crony capitalist agenda and not the middle class.
