Honestly I would not get to freaked out over this. It happened in the cold war all the time. Look at it as a sort of training mission for the Russians and us. They fly their bombers out to Guam, we scramble our fighters and everyone gets a little training. It is not a personal insult, it is just the Russians being Russians.... For those to young to remember, here is the Russian Bear The Tupolev Tu-95 is sort of like a Cold War educational program for young American pilots.

The Russians are good at giving weak US Presidents the finger and poking them in the eye. They enjoy doing it. And they know a weak President when they see one. Dear Leader practically hung a kick me sign on himself when he told Putin he would have more “flexibility” after his re-election.

Whatever…..the Russians/Soviets have flown this type of profile for the last 50 years using the 50 year old TU-95. I remember F-102 & 106 scrambles from Otis AFB back in the 60′s intercepting the bears as they lumbered to Cuba. Of far more concern was the Chicom sub surfacing next to a Carrier battle group a year or so ago.

No, Russians are feeling their oats, probably because Obama is behaving like a weakling. They were harassing Japan with flyovers of the disputed Kuril Islands (separate from the disputed Senkaku Islands with China) earlier last week.
