Rahm Emanuel may go for 2016 — if Hillary doesn’t
The 53-year-old Emanuel, who is busy raising money for his 2015 reelection campaign in the Windy City, has had discussions both over the phone and face to face in the past month with Democratic Party donors and fundraisers about a possible White House run, according to sources. …
Clinton loyalist James Carville, another friend of the mayor’s, echoed Begala’s dubious assessment: “I never have heard something like that, and it’s not like I don’t talk to Rahm all the time. And it’s not like people close to him ever brought it up.”
Yet rumors of Emanuel’s higher ambitions persist. “I heard there were some conversations with donors especially during the inauguration,” a well-known Democratic politico told The Daily Beast, referring to the January 20-21 celebrations in Washington marking the launch of President Obama’s second term. A second highly placed Democrat echoed that account. …
“If Hillary doesn’t run, the lineup isn’t exactly impressive,” said University of Virginia political scientist Larry Sabato. “Who do the Democrats have? Cuomo, and a vice president who’s going to be 74 by Inauguration Day. Then there’s Martin O’Malley, the governor of Maryland? Brian Schweitzer, the former governor of Montana? Kirsten Gillibrand? These are not giants in a forest of redwoods.”

But what about Joe Biden? [snicker]

He won’t.
As a Jew he is pretty much automatically disqualified from the office. If Romney had a hard time in 2008 because “Mormonism isn’t really Christian”, imagine what a Jewish candidate will get…
And as a Jew myself, and many of us feel this way, I really don’t want to see another Jew as an American president. This will inflame the crazies the world over about a “Jewish cabal controlling the world”, and of course, a Jewish American president will have to prove to everyone what an “independent” president he is, and will outdo all the previous presidents combined in terms of putting pressure on Israel.
When Joseph Lieberman was not elected as VP in 2000 many Jews sighed a big sigh of relief.

I figured he would and I think he has a great advantage having personally worked with BO. He is also a thug and want to be tyrant so the left and media will faun all over him.

On the bright side, the Dancing Dwarf would bring his crime-fighting success to the national stage.
Just imagine, no more gun crime anywhere in the U.S.

The Democrats don’t have to shoot down their toxic candidates because the Republicans do it for them.
I, for one, welcome this overlords’s campaign.

Why couldn’t we have Rahm as the next President? We haven’t had a man known to run naked through gymnasiums poking people in anger as President yet. We have to get that box checked sooner or later. After all that’s what being President is all about anymore. Checking off boxes.

Cuomo would beat the sh*t out of Emanuel. Bet on it.

That would be the best news the GOP has had in years.

Considering the current conditions in Chicago, Rahm’s campaign would be about as successful as John Lindsay’s presidential run in 1972 (and unlike Hillary, there’s no reason the big media would orgasm over Emanuel running for president, compared to Cuomo, O’Malley or even Sheriff Joe).
