Needing a drink of water shows that you are completely devoid of the skills needed for higher office. Bark never needs a drink, he can absorb moisture through his rat ears.

Rubio had his water bottle ready and set for the segment which shows he’s got enough media savvy to know their setups. Once you take part in laughing at yourself you immediately disarm your naysayers, end of story. It’s endearing to most rational people.

“Summary of media coverage of SOTU and Republican response: Rubio drinks water. Obama walks on it.” H/T Twitter

Obviously this horrid mistake of a gaffe in a SOTU response speech renders him incapable of running for President. Ever.

W. C. Fields would strongly disagree.

What? A politician doing the right thing because, well, it was the right thing to d?
Really, LameStream, really?
Yeah, I can see why you want to avoid his actual speech and the points contained therein. THAT would not look good for your Dark Overlord, who obviously doesn’t need to drink. But causes a lot of drinking around the country…and we aren’t talking water…

If Dems discover their Kool-Aid contains dihydrogen monoxide, will they stop drinking it?
