The reason he is getting so much buzz is that he communicated Conservative values in a simple way. His life shows he actually believes what he says. Most republicans currently calling themselves Conservative are missing that core belief and therefore don’t fight for what is right and cave. I don’t know where all our principled leaders went but it seems that they are more concerned with being against Obama and not for Conservative principles. People see that and don’t want it. The democrats are standing on most of their principles even though most of them are bad for the country, but they stand on them. We need to work at showing the public that Conservative principles work and are better for them and the country. Until that happens, the people will vote for principled democrats(even though they are wrong) over unprincipled republicans.

What has Carson ever done besides attend 12 years of medical school, become the nation’s top neurosurgeon, donated his time and skill to those who otherwise couldn’t afford it, and worked to help people in need?

Has he ever doled-out fund money to cronies, “organized” a community, written 2 autobiographies about an undistinguished life, or edited the Harvard Law Review?

Come on, the man is an idiot.

We need to stop looking for the right candidate and start making the case to voters. First you win the argument, then you win the election.

Carson need not run for political office to have a political impact. He should go to Democrat enclaves and speak truth to power.

It breaks my heart that this is true. Our country is so much worse off for it. Can you imagine the media giving this man the respect he deserves and thoughtfully evaluating his ideas?

To me he sounds like a cross between Thomas Sowell and Walter E. Williams.

He did have the temerity to speak out against Dear Leader’s policies with the man sitting 5 feet away from him no less. If that’s not the behavior of a tyrant or bully, I don’t know what is.
