Tina Brown: If Obama was Bush, he’d be impeached by now for his drone policy

MAHER: Impeached? No.

MAHER: Impeached, by who? Who would –

BROWN: I think if this was a Republican president, the outcry about drones would be far greater.

I think it’s true, but it doesn’t necessarily mean the outcry would be correct.

I think if a Republican President did any of the things that Obama has done, he would be impeached.

Liberals and democrats are not about doing what is right or the best thing, they are only interested in being in power and staying in power.
No matter what the failure or misdeed of a Democrat President, the bigger failure to Democrats would be to lose the office.

Bull.

Most of what 0 has donewouldn’t be impeachable, because like Bush and Iraq, he went to Congress for most of it. We may not like 0′care (and I sure as hell hope none of us like 0′care), but the fact is Congress and SCOTUS signed off on it.

But these drone strikes, killing citizens with no oversight… if that isn’t an abuse of power, or at least heading down a path of abuse of power, that the impeachment process was designed to forestall, then I can’t think of what might be…

I think one of the reasons the GOP has been stepping back a bit. When the fall comes for 0bama, it will be…quite ugly. He’s already overreaching and grabbing political third rails as if he has found the way to defuse them. Why bring attention on onesself when your enemy is making such a grave mistake?

You know what’s Impeachable Tina Brown? Abandoning 2 americans to fend for themselves against Jihadis….Giving guns to drug cartels resulting in a murdered border guard and hundreds of dead mexicans..those are impeachable offenses!!!
