Rove strikes back: MRC’s Brent Bozell “crying crocodile tears”
After Jonathan Collegio, a spokesman for Rove’s group American Crossroads, said that Bozell was a “hater” who had “weird axes to grind,” Bozell and other conservative leaders called for Collegio to be fired.
“Jonathan Collegio misspoke,” Rove said. “He immediately called Bozell and apologized. But look, Bozell — I respect him. He has done a lot of good things. The media center that he has does good work. But look, here’s a guy who called me a fake conservative, who called our efforts a failure, who distorted what we did. And yet, he turns around and starts crying crocodile tears when Jonathan Collegio says something he shouldn’t have said. But at least Collegio apologized for it. Bozell is out there calling me a fake conservative. Doesn’t matter to me, but it’s obviously not true.”

Rove, you are a fake. You brung Romney and bef. him so much like him.
Go away, all of you. You’re all Obama light, sucking at the national cow’s teets, like the leftards. You are all Looters of the first rate.
Schadenfreude on February 9, 2013 at 3:05 PM
Azzholes, all sides should not appoint dummies. It’s not the message, it’s the messengers.
Dummies and RINOs go to Hades. The land can’t affort you. The triumverate of leftists, RINOs and conservative dummies is destroying the land.

Pi$$ off Rove .
You’re annoying .

I have always enjoyed Bozell’s work.
Bmore on February 9, 2013 at 3:35 PM
That’s Bozell’s entire career. Whining like a b*tch. Pissing and moaning about anything and everything.
Armin Tamzarian on February 9, 2013 at 3:36 PM
UNLIKE Armin Tamzarian, who never whines or moans or pitches a fir aobut the religious or abortion….*SHEESH*

Hence, the nickname “The Stupid Party” Maybe some should be put in a timeout.

Rove didn’t bring us Romney. We nominated Romney because he would have made a great president and he was the only one with a chance to defeat Obama. The re-election of Obama is devastating but you need to take some time off to try to recover your sanity.
Basilsbest on February 9, 2013 at 3:48 PM
So much Libs’ method, after Rove got caught lying about ‘campaigned for Reagan’.
A long way to go for Mr. Rove to build his reputation and trustworthiness.
Sir Napsalot on February 9, 2013 at 3:51 PM
And, three hours later, Mark Levin sliced and diced Rove’s comments to pieces, and exposed him for the fraud he is.
It was awesome!
kakypat on February 9, 2013 at 4:08 PM
Rove is right. Too many conservatives are whining and crying about how other conservatives are either dissing them or disagreeing with them or whatever. When Levin called Rove a doughboy he sounded 12 years old.
They need to grow up. BTW, if Rove wants to support candidates, he has every bit as much right to do that as a lot of the cry babies who are attacking him right now. They sound like children…the whole bunch of them.
Terrye on February 9, 2013 at 4:14 PM
I could care less if Rove is a RINO! What worries me is Rove is a legend in his own mind.
Getting Bush elected in two very close elections against the second coming of L. Ron Hubbard (Gore) and a stiff (Kerry) from a state like Massachusetts is not a big accomplishment.
To put it simply he is overrated and I would like to see some new blood lead us in the future.
William Eaton on February 9, 2013 at 4:14 PM
All the while Rove is whining and cryin about being dissed and being disagreed with.. I mean you can’t make some of these comments up.
melle1228 on February 9, 2013 at 4:18 PM
Yeah…go away and leave us with the true conservatives like Mourdock and the rest of the losers. Listen to yourselves….Romney outperformed both Pence and Mourdock here in Indiana and the tru con cry babies out there had a chance to come up with someone better than Romney, but they could not and did not. They attacked him relentlessly until they had no choice but to support him and then they did not exactly give him a ringing endorsement. So instead of constantly whining and complaining about how everyone else is Obama light how about coming up with someone who can actually win?
Terrye on February 9, 2013 at 4:19 PM
Indeed it’s obviously not true. I have no reason to think that he’s any kind of conservative – fake, genuine, or otherwise. Republicans hire him for campaign purposes. If he ever mentions any principles of limited government, it’s strictly in the context of trying to gain conservative support and votes for a Republican candidate. When his money dries up, we’ll find out what he really thinks. His lashing out at the Tea Party is the start of this.

Rove’s republican, not conservative. His band of merry men are hired guns that wouldn’t understand a conservative principle except that they don’t like them. Glad to have Rove as the face of the cotton republican as it’ll accelerate the split making way for a new party like the Whigs.

I didn’t know you did stand-up comedy!
Stoic Patriot on February 9, 2013 at 4:26 PM
If this is true why don’t some of these socalled conservatives like Levin, Malkin, Limbaugh etc give up their lucrative careers of preaching to the choir and run for office themselves? They piss and moan when conservatives do not win, but they will not run. They won’t take the kind of chance Romney took. They would lose money on the deal. Sarah Palin had her chance too and where the hell was she when it came time to run something other than her mouth?
honestly, I am so sick of this crap.
Terrye on February 9, 2013 at 4:28 PM
How was the Romney inauguration? you do know that in other elections, down ticket candidates got more votes than mittness? Or that 6million conservatives withheld their votes from him? Why is that?
AH_C on February 9, 2013 at 4:31 PM
Oh fricking stop about poor, poor Romney getting attacked mmkay, because people like Romney and Rove’s ilk attack people within their own party harder than then go after Democratic challengers. Review some video of Rove on Palin vs. Rove on Obama or Romney on Gingrich vs. Romney vs. Obama and tell me who the frick attacks their own.. Cry your “trucons” tears for someone who cares.
melle1228 on February 9, 2013 at 4:36 PM
Well not to mention the fact that Mourdock and Akin had nothing to do with the “Binders full of Women” “47%” memo they used against Romney. Romney helped double down on their rich out of touch sexist businessman label especially when he didn’t fight back..
melle1228 on February 9, 2013 at 4:38 PM
Terrye go Google “Cotton Whigs”. Your ancestors are depicted there.
AH_C on February 9, 2013 at 4:39 PM
People like the ones you listed have a national reputation as ultra-right-wing talk hosts, which has not endeared them to a good many voters. And that’s without considering personal history. Like for Limbaugh, who’s track record of drug addiction and failed marriages will be joke fodder for the left.
With the possible exception of Malkin – and then only because she’s a pretty chick – not a single shout-radio host would get to square one.
MelonCollie on February 9, 2013 at 4:40 PM
Let me ask you this …
If you ran a very good charity to help orphans or something … or cure cancer … would you hire Joseph Stalin to be the spokesperson for that charity?
No?
Then why in holy hell is Tokyo Rove trying to be a spokesman for the GOP? 2/3rds of the country HATES him. His negatives are higher than Nancy Pelosi’s.
Well, whatever – I’m glad his sad mug is now plastered as THE SPOKESMAN AND TITULAR LEADER of the establishment.
Only make it easier for us to beat those idiots!

It’s reality that sickens you, sweetie.
xblade on February 9, 2013 at 5:17 PM
She spent a million dollars and actually backed some candidates who won. Rove spent a hundred million and didn’t win single race.
