Egyptian court suspends YouTube over Mohammed movie
The country’s administrative court ordered the ministries of communication and investment to block YouTube, owned by Google, inside Egypt because it had carried the film “Innocence of Muslims”, said state news agency MENA.
The 13-minute video, billed as a film trailer and made in the United States, provoked a torrent of anti-American unrest in Egypt, Libya and dozens of other Muslim countries in September.

Really? Aside from the lie of Benghazi, where was this torrent of unrest noted?
The author must assume that there are times when Middle East anti-American unrest doesn’t exist, and must be provoked in order to get noticed.
And OBTW, YouTube bans nudity, so the Islamists won’t really be missing anything.

Obamas dictate that the future does not belong to those who mock Islam has had some tangible proof this week.

And one of the Google founders backed the Egyptian revolt. How’s that working out for you now?
rbj on February 9, 2013 at 12:58 PM
If YouTube/Google had the gonads they would respond by a worldwide blocking of anything that contained any reference to Egypt, Muslims, Islam or Jihad. They don’t and won’t of course, but if they did they could make a powerful point about free speech.

This is going to lay waste to Google’s bottom line.

I hope it at least hurts them enough to make them DO something.

How many centuries of first cousin marriage does it take to become this thin skinned?
tom daschle concerned on February 9, 2013 at 1:28 PM
They are not thin skinned. They are manufacturing excuses to appear provoked. What they want is to provoke reticence and fear in the non believer (you). They have been doing a heck of a job so far.

The U.S. government does the same thing but based on political correctness rather than sharia law. If Obama had a son, he’d look like Trayvon Martin. Then all the sudden the charges against Zimmerman go from a “self-defense” no charge to a charge of “2nd degree murder”.

This is what democracy looks like! Right Obama? They need more emergency funds, right John McCain?? Our politicians are betraying us and our money we give them
