Clinton warns Dems: The Republicans won’t make it so easy this time around
Former President Bill Clinton came to the House Democratic retreat here armed with a warning: The Republicans won’t make it as easy for Democrats to win in 2014.
“I think that we should assume going forward that the people who disagree with us, honestly in our approach, will not make it quite as easy to draw the contrast on the things they do and say [as] they did last time,” Clinton told House Democrats in a wide-ranging and largely informal talk that lasted nearly 45 minutes. …
“Now that you won this race that was a referendum in large measure on what the American people did not want, we have to create a future that they do want,” he said.
Clinton aimed his address at the political opportunities and pitfalls the party will have to navigate as they seek to reclaim the House majority in 2014. …
“You should not rely on demography alone,” Clinton said.

Translation: Obama won’t be at the top of the ticket in 2014, so don’t bet on minorities and the youth to come out in droves for free stuff.

Does Clinton know anything at all about the Stupid Party? The GOP specializes in giving up.

Yeah, man. Santorum totally would have won, maybe by Reagan-Mondale margins – would have rode that birth control issue all the way to the White House, yessiree. Or, maybe Newt could have explained how cheating on 2 ex-wives has helped him find redemption in Catholicism.

At this point, I’d bet on the French winning a war before betting on my party.

yeah when Obama pulled that crap on them either would have pivoted to repeal of Obamacare. Mitt couldn’t or wouldn’t. Mitt was the only candidate that couldn’t attack Obama on Obamacare. The worse candidate ever couldn’t attack the POTUS on his weakest point. the GOPe knew that that’s why they wanted him.

Nah. It was people like you screaming from the mountain top that Mitt was the worst candidate ever.

Bingo!
Self-fulfilling prophecy.

And Romney wasn’t 1/10th as bad a candidate as Juan “Obama would make a great president” McLame.

TRANSLATION: The birth rate drop by Central American illegals dropped precipitously in 2010 after a small bump, without much of reduction in the number of women of childbearing age. The babies born in 2009 will turn 5 in 2014, and there don’t seem to be any younger brothers and sisters to re-qualify the family for TANF when that happens. Which usually means the family leaves the US.

bullcrap. Just another excuse for Mitt losing to the worse POTUS in history. There are real reasons Mitt. the same reasons we told you all about for 4 years. I see some of the low information mitt voters haven’t learned their lessons. the GOPe wanted Mitt they knew is weaknesses and they knew he would lose. They didn’t want a repeat of 1980 nor a repeat of 2010. simple as that.
Wise up before 2014 is another mistake.
