Poll: 46% say NRA reflects their view on guns, 43% say Obama does
More than 90 percent of U.S. voters supported background checks for all gun buyers, while much smaller majorities were for stricter gun control laws such as bans on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, said a poll released on Thursday.
But the National Rifle Association (NRA) edged out President Barack Obama in the poll, with 46 percent saying the pro-gun lobby better reflects their views on guns, versus 43 percent for Obama.
By a margin of 92 percent to 7 percent, voters supported background checks, the Quinnipiac University telephone poll showed. In households with a gun, 91 percent were in favor, while 8 percent were opposed, Quinnipiac said.

How many of them understand that the proposed changes would include having to background check your own kid if you passed on a heritage .22 rifle?

I just tried polling the Right brothers — Inalienable, Natural and G. Given — and they refused, saying polls don’t mean sh!t. Then they opened their jackets showing they were armed to the teeth and told be to bug off.

Polls are irrelevant.
This is a question of the continued inclusion of the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights.
If they want to do the whole gun control thing, then they have to repeal the amendment.
Otherwise, any attempt to infringe upon that inalienable right is illegitimate and will be dealt with accordingly.

Background checks = gun registration = gun confiscation.
Anyone who doesn’t understand this is a fool.

Do people realize that this would mean that the government would have control of your personal property?
WTF is wrong with people that every freaking time a Criminal commits a heinous crime; innocent people lose some of their freedom?
How are they going to enforce “background checks for all gun buyers” without registration?
How are they going to enforce “background checks for all gun buyers” without the government controlling everyone’s property?
And do those 90% realize that registration leads to CONFISCATION?

0% is the percentage of polls I give a damn about. This is a way to make news and further pet narratives of the luciferian reprobate left. To Gehenna with them all.

Which of Obama’s views on guns are we talking about. The dishonest one he expresses in public, or the real one that wants to repeal The Second Amendment?
RadClown on February 7, 2013 at 10:58 AM
Exactly! So many mindless Democratic drones will just automatically say they’re more like Obama than the NRA without knowing the position of either. I’d say about half of my friends that vote Democrat can’t articulate a single policy they’re voting for. They just know their parents or good friends always vote Democrat so it must be the right way to vote.
