Foreign governments lobbying hard in favor of immigration reform
While the issue routinely comes up in talks between foreign leaders and the executive branch, embassy officials are ramping up their outreach to Congress and the White House in order to take advantage of the best hope for reform in years.
A number of countries with significant immigration ties to the United States — notably Mexico, Ireland and several Central American nations — have been making their concerns known while doing their best to avoid meddling in domestic affairs.
For many countries, the issue goes beyond humanitarian concern: Remittances from foreign nationals living in the U.S. provide a significant boost to the economies of their home countries.

Let you tired & hungry & poor go abroad & make a bunch of $$ to send back home to support the deadbeats that made your home country a $hithole worth leaving.
What Foreign Govt officials don’t love some of that?

Great … foreign nationals come here illegally, receive taxpayer money and ship it home.
It’s really getting close to the time when we have to shut down liberalism and take the country back.

Why don’t we just adopt Mexico’s immigration policies? That should make liberals happy … right?

And internationalist traitors in our government are selling out.

Incredible that the American Left fully and wholeheartedly supports the corrupt 1%er Mexican elite that has forced their own poor citizens across the border like unwanted trash.
If the Left actually cared about the plight of poor people they would be insisting that the Mexican elite start ponying up some of their vast, vast government fortune and taking care of their own. But they don’t…and that’s because the Left does not care about poor people.

You mean militarizing our southern border, like Mexico does to theirs?

Maybe we could ship our uneducated welfare recipients somewhere also?

Sure, and booting out illegals, and stopping immigration if it changes Mexico’s demographics. Liberals should be ok with that right? I mean … it’s from Mexico.

How about we adopt Canada’s immigration policies? Newborns aren’t granted Canadian citizenship just because they’re born in Canada. I believe at least one parent has to be a Canadian citizen, might be both.
Liberals should be cool with that right? I mean … it’s Canada for pete’s sake.

IIRC, you can’t own property or vote in mexico if you are not a citizen? Why not have the rop type countries lobby to let their people here?
I hope that those who have anyone who came to the US legally, wants to be a citizen, and spends thousands trying to do it the correct way are ‘lobbying’ hard for them to get amnesty also!

Well, this did work really well with Carter and Castro.

Of course – they want their moochers in the US. Why should they support them?
The US is the Stupid of the World and they all know it.

Global redistribution and ‘reparations’, and Obama is their man.
He hates the US and the foreing potentates love him.
Wake up Amerika…wait, it’s already too late.

The RORW always envied the old US.
Now the US is brought down to their level. They love Obama.

Not to mention that the ability to dump their poorest, least educated citizens, as well as their criminals, on the backs of U.S. taxpayers makes life easier (and less expensive) for those in power in foreign nations.
Mexico has long called its border with the U.S. it’s “pressure valve” for that very reason.
It is beyond outrageous that our own government actively encourages and enables this type of anti-American activity.

Why wouldn’t they?

Sorry, that boat sailed a long time ago and there is no turning it around for a redo. As soon as we allowed the multi-cultural bull crap and political correctness to become the basis of society the war was lost to the left. Now nobody has the balls to stand up and say enough is enough so we are lost at least until the perverse leftest spawn of the 60s die off. Then and only then, this country may change for the better but I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you.
