“I think Hispanics, like any other voter, can see through an insincere candidate who is just spouting the rhetoric”
“My observations have been, during this past cycle, particularly in Nevada, is that we have a lot of minority candidates, a lot of minority individuals who got involved in the campaign” as staffers or volunteers, Sandoval said. “I think they’re going to want to be a part of this immigration debate, I think it’s healthy and about time.”
Martinez, on the other hand, sounded a familiar warning: That Hispanics are not one-issue voters, and that attracting them to the GOP is about more than immigration policy.
“I really want to emphasize that when we have candidates that are discussing the immigration issue, certainly we have to always have that conversation in a sincere manner. I think Hispanics, like any other voter, can see through an insincere candidate who is just spouting the rhetoric or whose tone is not being respectful,” Martinez said.

This dude is definitely celebrating the legalization of pot. That, or he doesn’t own a TV or have access to the internet.

Yeah…uh…the 96% of black voters who pulled the lever for Barky want to have a word with you. Don’t ever discount race pimps and the fools who fall for it.

Yup. Rewarding lawbreakers with citizenship seems to be the breaking point. I also haven’t heard many Hispanic proamnesty types who show much interest in securing the border.

That’s right, they’re more interested in the free-sh!t policy, and they damn well know who provides it.

It’s a novel strategy by the Democrat-media complex: don’t embrace spending, taxes, and debt because you agree with them, Republicans. Emrbace them to appeal to the Latino vote. They expressly favor bad government like they had in the dumps they left. Therefore opposing bad government – in all seriousness – makes you a racist.
Anyone here think this is not going to work? They’ve already broken through the first rank and have coopted Cantor and Jindal.

What, was obama wearing a Hispanic-vision-proof lead suit or something in November? Hispanics (legal and illegal) fell for obama, hook, line and sinker – he offered them magical freeshit, and they blindly voted for him in droves.

It’s usually the exact opposite. They tend to be supporters of open borders with no restrictions.

The question of Amnesty really has nothing to do about possible voting patters of this or that group. It’s about the defense of American sovereignty. If we lose this, the country is finished. They know they can’t win this debate, so they try to change it to another. But we shouldn’t play along.
And the subject of Amnesty does not belong to one particular ethic group. It affects the whole populace. This is about the rule of law, and whether or not our elected representatives are subject to it the same as all citizens. If they’re allowed to pass this Amnesty, it will mean we have descended fully into tyranny. Where the citizen has no representation, but is lorded over by bureaucrats who refuse to subject themselves to the very laws they pass.
It really is all or nothing on this.

Once again: If people are already prejudiced against you, stop wasting time, money, and policial resources trying to win them over.
