Obama courts backlash with gay scoutmaster stance

But short of asking his attorney general to sue the Scouts over the group’s exclusion of openly gay men from becoming scoutmasters, there’s not much Obama can do except try to lead public opinion against the organization as currently constituted.

So what’s the point of sharpening and politicizing the debate over gay scoutmasters?

Well, we know that Obama is prone to sharing his opinions on everything from the conduct of the Cambridge, Mass. Police to the rules of professional football, so perhaps this is just the return of Professor Obama, commentator.

Whatever his reason, though, gnawing on the subject of gay scoutmasters as fathers and sons across the land sat down for the big game on Super Bowl Sunday will certainly not do anything to diminish the Republican attack that the president is a hard-left ideologue.

On the issue of ‘backlash’, it seems the wwp must have gotten an ear full from their rejecting a church donation! I still will not give to the wwp ever again though!

I don’t think he even cared about backlash in his first term. Second term is like, “I’ll do whatever the F I want! Hahahaha.” What’s anyone gonna do?

Sorry, but that boat sailed already, and the homosexual activists that tried it lost big time. The Boy Scout’s were determined to be a Religious outreach program and therefore Constitutional Protected against forced inclusion of Homosexuals.

Supreme Court says Boy Scouts can bar gay troop leaders

Forcing it to accept gays would violate its constitutional right of freedom of association and free speech under the First Amendment, it said.

Chief Justice William Rehnquist agreed. He said for the court majority that applying a state public accommodations law to require the Boy Scouts to admit a gay troop leader violates the group’s constitutional right of expressive association.

We have the comfort of knowing that his sorry presidency will end in LESS THAN FOUR YEARS! But, that comfort is tempered by the strong chance that he’ll sign on with MSNBC and bless us with his omniscience as a celebrity talking head, 7 days a week. He Just! Can’t! Stop! Talking!!! That said, I can’t wait to see him on a panel with Charles Krauthammer and Ann Coulter.

His use of “exposing” and “promoting” which have legal sexual connotations, is he doing that on purpose, to be cute, like when he places his middle finger on the side of his face? By legal connotations I’m talking about exposing ones genitals, and promoting prostitution. Is it an unconscious hat tip that he knows full well that sodomy is indeed perverse?
