Report: Israel considers building buffer zone inside Syria
The Times reported that the proposal, intended to protect itself from rebels across the northern frontier, has been presented to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
“A buffer zone set up with the co-operation of local villagers lies at the heart of the plan. If the country remains unstable we might have to stay there for years,” The Times quoted a military planner as saying.

What what the heck else are they going to do? It’s better to blow them up over there than have them blowing you up in your homes and businesses.

I agree. I was referring to the widening of the conflict – possibly to a general war, all because of Obama’s stupid policies.
Note to self: don’t be so obtuse!

Hmm… so what happens if the Syrian Christians decide that this new zone is the place to be?
(I’m not saying that Assad is gonna lose, but there’s a bunch of non-Sunni’s that may need to run for safety…)

How about we give the Syrian Christians their own state within this “buffer zone”?

Seriously? The Sunday Times comes out with false Israel story after false Israel story, the Israeli press quotes them and we get the story here on Hot Air and people STILL believe it? And the author is Uzi Mahnaimi?
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me seventy times, WTF?
Seriously? Mahnaimi has never been right about Israel or Syria, except in the spelling of their names.
