Al Qaeda staging a comeback, thanks to splinter groups
The emerging offshoots have altered the composition of the terrorist network, scrambling its structure and complicating U.S. assessments of the threat that al-Qaeda represents…
“One of the most concerning things we’re seeing is a cross-fertilization and cross-pollinization of affiliates,” a senior U.S. intelligence official said. The newer groups have more diverse memberships, abundant access to weapons and a willingness to collaborate that “serves as a multiplier effect,” the official said…
U.S. officials said Obama’s options are more constrained in North Africa and the Middle East, regions where the United States has fewer intelligence resources and has seen staunch counterterrorism allies, such as former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, driven from power.

But, but, but… the light worker said we had them on the run. Did he lie or just not know what the hell he was talking about?

They’re zombies. It’s a roving horde of young ragheads from the Stans, the Gulf states, and even some western countries.
They get their rocks off by chopping people up, shooting, bombing, raping, and generally being very bad guys. They say its about Allah but its really about the sheer joy they find in mayhem.
It would be easier if they were in it for the money.

I’m a little skeptical about the decline of Al-Q. The teeny tiny fringe group of beautiful religion hijackers has probably grown from 26 in 2001 up to 33 or 34 today by looks of the ruckus and grievances expressed.
They have taken advantage of the poverty, lack of education and the persistent white racist Islamophobia from the oppressive West, that forces them to strike out blindly in their internal grief.
And remember, it has nothing to do with Islam or the Sacred Soddie Sodomites.

By removing Mubarak and Qadaffi, Obama and Clinton knowingly opened the gates for the alQueda to come to the front door of Europe.
