How can a teacher rat someone out?
Dongemaharu on February 2, 2013 at 3:25 PM
That does it.
Time for some civil disobedience.
I’m going to NYC wearing a t-shirt with a photo of a 17-ounce soda on it.
Will you all visit me in prison?
itsnotaboutme on February 2, 2013 at 3:27 PM
Insanity.
The teacher would probably be ok with a picture of military personnel being burned in effigy however.

How about we prohibit teachers and professors from having desktop backgrounds showing peace signs, doves, or pictures of the Dalai Lama? Denial of tenure, administrative leave, suspension, possible termination. Makes just as much sense.

What country’s flag is that?
nobar on February 2, 2013 at 3:30 PM
Mao, Che, Castro, or Hugo Chavez would be just peachy. As Biden would say, I’m serious. I’m not kidding.

What if you have a picture of a US soldier with a gun?
Dongemaharu on February 2, 2013 at 3:31 PM
Would the picture of Barry ‘doing skeet shooting’ been acceptable?

First one I found that matches: Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1940s–1992)

If banning assault pictures saves just one child’s life…

Remember when you could get a decent AK-type for a couple hundred?
I really miss those days.

Question:
Do the history books in the Arizona school show this image?
If so, those books (and others) need to be removed from the classroom. There are swords and guns visible.
No tolerance is just that….no tolerance.
GET THE VIOLENT BOOKS OUT OF THE CLASSROOM!
BobMbx on February 2, 2013 at 4:04 PM
Indeed.
This is just more Liberal intolerance.

When my son returned from his 4th tour in the desert the family presented him a custom made engraved gladius we had forged for him. It hangs over his wet bar in his den now. Now I wonder if his son will get him busted when he tells his classmates about such evil on a wall in the family home. Come out with your hands up, Limerick Jr.

Shame that there wasn’t some teacher to suggest (no pressure now!) that he use a photo of an American rifle.
