PPP
Poll: Hillary Clinton could win Texas or something
PPP’s newest Texas poll finds that, at least for now, Hillary Clinton could win the state in 2016. This follows on the heels of a survey last month where we found she would have a decent chance of winning Kentucky if she makes another White House bid.
50% of Texas voters have a favorable opinion of Clinton to 43% with a negative one. She’s universally well liked by Democrats (91/5) and a majority of independents view her positively as well (52/41). She holds narrow leads in hypothetical match ups with Marco Rubio (46/45) and Chris Christie (45/43) and a wider one in a contest against Rick Perry (50/42).

I can see the appeal of an overrated, over-the-hill, overweight battle axe.

Well golly gee, she is a regular Scarlet O’Hara down here in the Lone Star.

If true, cross Texas off the possible states to move to.

Guess what, I’ve heard from people in TX city governmant, that the state is actually trending blue. Even cities like Houston that were bastions of Red, are now becoming purple.
I would not discount these stories.

She could win Texas in a Democrat primary but not in a general election.

In much the same way that jihadists immigrated to European countries and are destroying them from the inside out, so too are the libs moving to states like Texas. Parasites that will harm the host if they aren’t dealt with.

I laughed when I first heard about the potential presidential candidacy of a fella named Barack Hussein Obama. Really laughed. Laughed my ass off. And here we are. So, yeah, the bloated, drunken, incompetent, worst secretary of state in history could win Texas. Probably will, in fact.

All Hillary has to do is run and the MSM will take care of the rest.

Hillary “What difference does it make?” Clinton winning TX?
Uh-huh.
Riiiiiight…. can I have some of what these people are on, because it is way better stuff than I can procure, that’s for sure.

ummm.. lady with lots of lady recognition is way ahead and goodwill. Eyes roll. Please come back and discuss in 2016. Polls don’t matter until then.

That’s Hillarious.
Now, could she win the Democratic primary here against, say, Andrew Cuomo and/or Joe Biden?
Definitely.

Unpossible. No way this could happen in 2016. It may happen some day, and probably will, but not anytime soon. The day TX goes blue is years away, but if it does, the presidency will belong to the Democrats permanently.

Houston is purple now, Dallas is blue, and Austin is bluer than blue… a bad trend to be sure. We need to finish the border fence AND put some concertina wire around those blue regions of gimme-ocracy. But still, who the heck are they polling? 50% – no way.

I’d go out on a limb and say that if it’s Christie-Hillzilla…Hillz would smash him in Texas.

I’m as proud to be a Texan as anyone but the comments about us slowly tracking to blue is unfortunately true.
As stated our urban areas are blue and the infection is spreading, we can ignore it at our peril.
The mayor of San Antonio, Castro (yeah!) is called the “hispanic obama”, He’s photogenic, pretty to look at, as empty a suit as fearless leader and being groomed for bigger things probably governor.
Our state House speaker Joe Strauss is a RINO who teams up with Dims, placing them in important committee chairmanships and killing conservative bills by refusing to take them to the floor.
No……be afraid…..be VERY AFRAID.

Atlanta is blue, Birmingham is blue, Nashville is blue, and New Orleans is blue, doesn’t mean the state is blue. Nearly every big city in the South is blue. I’d say Houston and Dallas are redder than any of the cities I mentioned above. The only way Hillary wins Texas or Kentucky is if we run another moderate like Christie. Texas is as likely to leave the union before 2016 as it is to vote for Hillary or any Democrat in 2016.
