Most of my family are die-hard Lefties, the zealot-types. I’ve come to the conclusion that they really are scared of liberty and -want- to be “subjects” to people they consider to be their “superiors.” They are scared of being adults, of making difficult decisions, or facing challenging trade-offs. I’m talking about people aged 40 and beyond. It’s almost impossible to reach these people because they don’t want what the conservative philosophy offers. They want to be bullied.

Everything they advocate, from the public sector unions to “green” energy scams to the minimum wage (and everything inbetween) is built upon a rejection/misunderstanding of basic economic principles.

This is why everything the Left dominates turns to crap, lower and middle-income families hardest hit.
