Unions are untenable now no matter what they do with immigration. Millions of excess workers can’t benefit these unions. There needs to be some demand for labor before the union has any leverage. At best, they want more Democrats because it means more liberal government and government spending that gives special higher than going rate paying jobs to the unions. They will all be quasi government workers. That can’t go on too long because the people aren’t going to enjoy paying for it.

Consider me surprised that this is yet another action by Obama to strengthen Unions–or the Dem political machine.

I’ve never see a guy as realpolitik as this guy.
