News Busters
Bad news: Scarborough can’t bring himself to mention Ted Cruz’s name anymore
SCARBOROUGH: By the way, there’s a way to ask Chuck Hagel tough questions. We showed clips of Roger Wicker who is very conservative but very respectful. And then you see–and I don’t even mention his name, the new senator from Texas who turned it into a clown show –
BRZEZINSKI: Oh, God.
SCARBOROUGH: — during his questioning and other senators that just were playing for the cameras and were trying to get a headline.

I can’t bring myself to mention the name of that stooge on MSNBC who claims to be a Republican.
Bitter Clinger on February 1, 2013 at 12:38 PM
Remind me again why Scarborough is considered a conservative by anyone?
ConservativeLA on February 1, 2013 at 12:38 PM

This guy personifies “asswipe.”
blatantblue on February 1, 2013 at 12:43 PM
Is it okay if I’m annoyed by both bozos? Seriously, why is Scaraborough upset? Has Cruz cornered the market on obnoxious grandstanding?
Illinidiva on February 1, 2013 at 12:44 PM
Dude, it’s pretty bad when I’d rather read another story about Manti Te’o than you, but that’s where I am with Scarborough.
besser tot als rot on February 1, 2013 at 12:45 PM
Scarborough is the beloved Republican of choice by the higher ups here at TownHotair.

Who? Oh, that morning coffee guy. Hmmm………..crappy coffee, like weak dishwater, adding that cream on the side ain’t helping.
Bmore on February 1, 2013 at 12:49 PM
Well, I can’t bear to watch Morning Joe so no biggie.
Resist We Much on February 1, 2013 at 12:49 PM
Kudos to anyone who can watch more than 20 seconds of those two dolts; I feel dumber just for reading the transcript. Neither of them can string more than 5 works together without sighing, pursing their lips, or staring off into space, and I have a feeling that actually talking to them in person would have you laughing in their face within a minute.
Bishop on February 1, 2013 at 12:50 PM
Tell ya what Joey!
I’ll do the work for you and mention
TED CRUZ TED CRUZ TED CRUZ TED CRUZ!!!!!!!!!!
The best addition to the Sh*thole Senate along with Rand Paul.
Now who was that person who came to Texas to push this man
over the Top????
Hmmmmmm, maybe Joey WILL mention her!
ToddPA on February 1, 2013 at 12:50 PM
MEANWHILE, in Scarborough’s mind … visions of Chris Christie and obama eating Twinkies and waxing each other’s butts, while Jeb Bush, wearing only a Michelle’O Bang-Wig and jockstrap, lip-synchs to a medley of Beyoncé’s greatest hits …
Pork-Chop on February 1, 2013 at 12:52 PM
Not so long as there is a Chuck Schumer in the US Senate. When it comes to obnoxious, he has deep enough pockets that nobody will corner that market…

Voldemort… lol

Oh dear, eyebleach, please.

Joe sure as hell never had a problem mentioning Ted Kennedy’s name, and Teddy turned pretty much every day of his life into a clown show. He’s the reason we have the verb to Bork in our lexicon, after all.
steebo77 on February 1, 2013 at 12:57 PM
I’m surprised MSNBC didn’t bleep that blatant religiousity.
KS Rex on February 1, 2013 at 1:01 PM
Ted Cruz: pissing off all the right people.

ToddPA on February 1, 2013 at 1:03 PM
That new Senator from Texas, you know that nasty clownshow guy. I do declare he gives me the vapors. He certainly is no gentleman.
Sorry, I’m just getting a contact-high off the mind blowing amount of testicular fortitude displayed by this crowd of nancy boys.
CorporatePiggy on February 1, 2013 at 1:05 PM
Respect?
MoreLiberty on February 1, 2013 at 1:08 PM
He isn’t outside the halls of MSDNC and the homes of the drones who still watch that drivel.
jawkneemusic on February 1, 2013 at 1:08 PM
“That person” certainly helped seal the deal, but it was the grassroots that really pulled Cruz over the finish line.
Another good addition is Nebraska’s Deb Fischer who’s come out against amnesty.
TxAnn56 on February 1, 2013 at 1:09 PM
Ted Cruz is a flawed Republican because he didn’t ask Joe Scarborough permission to run for the Senate.
portlandon on February 1, 2013 at 1:11 PM
I think it is great our new Sen. Cruz is out plowing up snakes! Wonder how long it will be till bhopress does their ‘search for krap’ on Cruz as they do with any r who is making a stink they don’t like in dc?
Good for you Ted!

“On July 20, 2001, one of Scarborough’s aides died after hitting her head on a desk when she fainted while alone in Scarborough’s Fort Walton Beach, Florida, office.[23] According to Scarborough, soon after her death, allegations “spread all over the Internet” that he had been involved,[23][24] although there was no evidence of foul play. In 2003, he joked about the incident with Don Imus on Imus’s radio program.”
Peach of a guy.
Bitter Clinger on February 1, 2013 at 1:52 PM
Since “that woman” didn’t have a vote, of course it was the grassroots that got him elected. It should be noted that Cruz went on record and said that her endorsement and her appearance was the difference maker. Are you trying to say that Cruz didn’t know what he was talking about? Are you saying that his surge was just a coincidence and that her involvement didn’t really make a difference? She didn’t “seal the deal”. She put Cruz in a position that allowed him to seal his own deal. When she endorsed him, people took notice and decided to give him a serious look. They liked what they heard.
NoNails on February 1, 2013 at 1:56 PM
The thug commie Democrats have PI’s down here in Texas with fine tooth combs looking at ever last thing or word Ted Cruz or his dad have ever uttered.
They are very afraid of the truth and any one who dares confront them with facts and will not back down.
Ted Cruz will get the msm/democrat party hate deal now, he is a grave danger to them.
APACHEWHOKNOWS on February 1, 2013 at 1:57 PM

Who is this “ScarBrain” guy anyway ?
J_Crater on February 1, 2013 at 2:26 PM
Palin was months and months behind Levin, Rand Paul, Rubio, and a host of others. When she did endorse him and he did go on record stating “boy did the phones light up” he was pretty much the Golden Boy and had won the primary. Don’t go spinning she created him because I was there and also HERE noting the day she first even mentioned his name.
Marcus on February 1, 2013 at 2:31 PM
Oh, and Schmoe could never mention “Rubio” when he was running either: if you are a Republican and younger that Schmoe and have a future – he don’t like you.
Marcus on February 1, 2013 at 2:32 PM
As usual, you take a little truth and weave it into a lie to support your hatred of “that woman”. The idea that he had won the primary before she endorsed him is nonsense.
NoNails on February 1, 2013 at 2:35 PM
Texas Republican Convention, Tarrant County Convention Center, Ft.Worth Texas before the primary vote between Cruz and Dehurst.
Ted won the draw to be first.
He comes in, huge standing ovation by the huge crowd, every one on their feet, thousands of “Ted Cruz for Senate” signs waving.
The crowd not tea party one,not Sarah Palin one, but conservative party peole, precicent chairs, county chairs, State House members, county commish types, county judges, county sherriffs, Texas Senate members, all the convention committee heads, the rank and file of the party. All on their feet cheering madly.
6 to 8 times the same thing during his talk, then another huge one at the end.
Then David Dehurst, the party leadership choice, 6 to 8 signs out of the whole place waving, no sound other than quite polite applause by the crowd.
David made his talk, the 6 or 8 signs waved a bit, some polite applause.
Things are changeing under the lead feet of the RINO lead party.
Now they bring George P. Bush to the state and will try to win with good hair, brown skin, and tons of money.
My guess is Mr. Scared one has no idea what is going on under cover of the facts here in Texas or any where for that matter.
He gets things to read, and is not that good at that some say.
APACHEWHOKNOWS on February 1, 2013 at 2:59 PM
Hmmm.. Schmoe doesn’t like Rubio. Perhaps because Rubio actually got to be Senator from Florida unlike Schmoe, whose political career ended with the mysterious dead staffer controversy. But considering Schmoe’s man crush on Ryan, it might just be because Schmoe hates Latinos.
As for Cruz, he is a blowhard, so I guess he’ll fit in well with Schumer. However, he does seem more interested in auditioning for talk radio than actually building an actual governing record.
