Cons can’t figure out why gun laws don’t work in Chicago. It’s because there’s this thing called INTERSTATE TRAVEL. Tough concept, I know!

That’s why there’s no meth or heroin in Chicago….because, unlike those filthy guns, meth and heroin are illegal…well, almost everywhere.

They can’t stop the manufacture, sale and distribution of drugs but for some reason they think a new law will make them stop the manufacture, sale and distribution of firearms.

The 2nd Amendment, like any right, is not unlimited. Reasonable constraints can and should be enacted in any society that calls itself civilized.

Guns are the great leveler. It doesn’t matter if the criminal is bigger, stronger, younger, faster or even numerically superior as long as a well trained, law-abiding gun owner (with a magazine of sufficient capacity) is there and willing to stand up for what’s right.

If the gun grabbers don’t like the 2nd Amendment, start rounding up your super-majorities in Congress and get referendums going in the states to change it. Good luck with that. Until then, what part of “shall not be infringed” don’t they understand?

Either the Constitution is sacred in it’s entirety, or the whole thing is eventually at risk.

If Democrats are truly interested in making Americans safer, and not just in passing feel-good laws that will do nothing to decrease gun violence, then they should welcome a closer look at what is going so horribly wrong in Obama’s hometown.

They are not interested in that. They are only interested in expanding government power over citizens. They are not interested in reducing violance or making anyone safer except their own jobs. They won’t take a closer look at what is going so horribly wrong in Obama’s hometown and anyone who does so is just a racist right wing nut job.

Why haven’t the Leftists figured that out yet?

Because it isn’t about guns or about violence. It is all about controlling “the masses” that you and I are members of in the population.

Yes, it’s all about control with them – they don’t’ care whether it actually solves the problem.

Reference what ‘no-brainer’ Biden said today:

“Look, nothing we’re going to do is going to fundamentally alter or eliminate the possibility of another mass shooting or guarantee that it will bring gun deaths down to 1,000 a year from what it is now,”

It couldn’t be because of the people who live there…..
