NRA president: “We’d be in prison” if we carried guns illegally like Media Matters
In an interview with The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas, NRA President David Keene said Tuesday that members of his group would be jailed and plastered across the front of The Washington Post if an NRA staffer were caught with an illegal weapon in Washington.
“The whole [Media Matters president] David Brock episode is symptomatic of the way people like him look at society. If I had a firearm, legal or illegal, he’d be horrified. But of course, his people are the good people. Just like the people in the government are the good people. So it’s OK to arm them, regardless of the laws,” said Keene.

Sometimes I think that Dem voters -want- to be serfs, subjects, underlings, etc. to people that they believe to be “superior,” more educated, and more intelligent than themselves.
Liberty can be a scary prospect. It takes adult decisions, trade-offs, and difficult choices. I believe that in our age of perpetual adolescence (please see: ObamaCare Adults) many people among us are simply just scared of being adults.

This. Liberalism is the most gutless position you can take on any subject. It encourage groupthink and avoids tough choices. It strives for equality of outcomes regardless of effort, because failure is simply an unbearable situation to them.
