Erik Wemple
Here’s why the Sandy Hook father wasn’t “heckled”
But no: After each of those calls for gun control, Heslin got the full attention of his audience. No interruptions, no heckling, no nothing. It’s only after he twice calls on the audience to rebut his opinions about assault rifles that he draws some audience participation. Had multiple news outlets not mischaracterized the session as a hecklefest, it might well have stood as a model of civil and patient discussion of a pressing public matter.

Wow … Wemple uses the actual dialog from the meeting to show why he wasn’t heckled yet the liberal nuts commenting totally ignore it and continue to say he was heckled.
Liberals are insane. If anyone should be forced to undergo mental health exams it’s them.

Well who would think that bhopress would not tell the truth or edit what was happening? How bhopress thinks they can get away with their krap is beyond me? Lots and lots of people get the ‘full’ testimony for a fact check!

Well had the media reported fairly the Low Information Drones the media programs may have wondered how a nation that has been scolded that 19 hijackers killing 3,000 people does not reflect on Islam needs to punish every American Citizen’s liberty for a horrible act of violence.
We can’t have that.

Everybody knows the leftists utilizing these photo-ops of victims are just waiting and hoping (maybe some even pray) for the chance to be offended and outraged. Anybody who is at all conservative has to be revealed as evil.
Funny how I’ve been noticing a lot more of that in, oh, the past four years or so. Why would that be? /

When you’re speaking Truth To Power you need to be willing to bend the rules a bit, including altering video and audio to condemn the targets of your trutherizing.

Given that Muslims have honor killed thousands of their children can we ban them from owning guns
Mormontheman on January 30, 2013 at 2:55 PM
Apparently libs do not know civil public debate when they see it.
mwbri on January 30, 2013 at 3:01 PM
It would be easier to just ban them period.
They will always find a way to perform an honor killing if they so desire…they don’t need guns for that. Peace religion and all that.
NJ Red on January 30, 2013 at 3:01 PM
True. But making it a gun ban – and making it international – would give the progressives something ‘constructive’ to do for the next century or so, trying to implement it….

Nah, it’s just that they’d really, really prefer that we shut up–even when somebody sounds like they are asking for feedback.
Axeman on January 30, 2013 at 3:26 PM
Because he isn’t a conservative. If he was then he would’ve been heckled.
