“We haven’t yet begun to fight”: An interview with Sarah Palin
1. What’s next for you?
Short term: I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can’t just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.
Focus on the 2014 election is also imperative. It’s going to be like 2010, but this time around we need to shake up the GOP machine that tries to orchestrate away too much of the will of constitutional conservatives who don’t give a hoot how they do it in DC. DC is out of touch, obviously. Voices on the right like Mark Levin, Rush, and the writers here at Breitbart have come out strongly against the “go along to get along” politicians who wave the white flag before the battle even begins. We’re not going to be able to advance the cause of limited constitutional government unless we deal with these big government enablers on our side. And this all ties into the problem of crony capitalism and the permanent political class in the Beltway. We need to consistently take them on election after election – ever vigilant.

It doesn’t matter, I love you Scrumpy! Be happy my dear!

So, davidk, tell katy we’re cool so I can crash. It’s late.
Bmore on January 27, 2013 at 1:14 AM
It looks like we all have come to the consensus that Palin, while admirable in many ways, should not be the face of any movement and is not fit to be our nominee. She is widely regarded as a lightweight and does more harm than good. Democrats may want nothing more than for her to be our 2016 nominee, but sadly for them it’s not happening.
bluegill on January 27, 2013 at 1:20 AM
Finally, clarity on the mission that confronts us. And to think some cold fish thinks she is stupid. Oh the irony.
karenhasfreedom on January 27, 2013 at 1:20 AM
Absolutely delusional you are gilled one. Funny!
Bmore on January 27, 2013 at 1:22 AM
Yes, clarity has been achieved. Happy that we have reached a consensus.
bluegill on January 27, 2013 at 1:22 AM
Are the voices always in your head, or just when you don’t take your meds?

Please assure us you are not in possession of any fire arms.

I can’t wait to show rogerb this mess. Lol!
Bmore on January 27, 2013 at 1:25 AM
Ah, Ms. bluegill the consensus maker.
You cannot even ascertain facts let alone a consensus. Do you even know what the word means?
As for Palin’s being a lightweight; whenever she addresses a topic, the left quake.
I think you are smarter than what you show in your posts about Palin. I understand you are deliberately provocative, but what you are putting out is nonsense. You can do better.
davidk on January 27, 2013 at 1:29 AM
You’re tripping…LOL
*literally*
idesign on January 27, 2013 at 1:31 AM
Are we cool or not, katy wants us to shake hands and I need to crash? Besides the gilled one is totally off her rocker.
Bmore on January 27, 2013 at 1:34 AM
Uh, ok, bluegill is crazy or starving for attention.
Dongemaharu on January 27, 2013 at 1:37 AM
I love that the mittler youth brigade is down to 2 members. Bleugills & basilllbest. Before the election they accused Palin of having Jo power, but after Romney lost they accused Palin of not using her power to help elect Romney.
portlandon on January 27, 2013 at 1:38 AM
The consensus is you are a MORON.
RickB on January 27, 2013 at 1:38 AM
…who’s WE?…you have a turd in your pocket?…again?…the only consensus is… THAT YOU ARE A CONTINUINOUS BOWEL MOVEMENT… regarding Palin!
KOOLAID2 on January 27, 2013 at 1:38 AM
My husband reminded me that Larry Kudlow mentioned Governor Palin very favorably on his TV show in 2008, having recently interviewed her on CNBC, and suggested that John McCain should consider her for VP. #hardlyalightweight

I said I would not bother you again, but you have asked me for a response.
I’ve never had anything against you. In fact, I am indebted to you. You kept me from being banned.
davidk on January 27, 2013 at 1:41 AM
Okay, katy, I tried. Later.
Bmore on January 27, 2013 at 1:41 AM
Huh? I’m sorry then davidk I thought you called me a troll and told me to get lost. My mistake. So we’re good then right? *Extending hand to shake.*

…US Senator Tom Harkness of Iowa announced his retirement…this came soon after learning that Harkness is the CHAIRMAN of the NATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH COMMITTEE which has not met in 6 years!…when asked…when it would meet?… (considering the mental state of all the mass shooters the last few years)…he said: SOON!
Your clarity scares the bejeebers out of me!…Your mom don’t have a gun?…does she?…UNCLE TOM!

Two Palin articles in two days. This site hasn’t been this much fun in I don’t know how long.

Guess they needed some page views to meet the month end expenses.
karenhasfreedom on January 27, 2013 at 2:42 AM
I think they were just trying to flush the panfish out of hiding.
Unfortunately, it worked.

i’m so excited to see what she does next!! (her own political show, maybe?) she knows that the biased msm is a HUGE problem for conservatives. that’s why she is determined to fight the msm as much as she can. that’s what we need to be doing. we have GOT to get tougher against the MSM or else we are going to keep losing!!

Depending of course on who is telling the story…
While on board the hulled and sinking Bonhomme Richard John Paul Jones responded to an invitation to surrender with “Sir, I have not yet begun to fight!” thus forever making it a suitable battle cry for people who have already taken a beating but still intend to win.
Slowburn on January 27, 2013 at 4:59 AM
oops! It was suppose to read like this.
Depending of course on who is telling the story…
While on board the hulled and sinking Bonhomme Richard John Paul Jones responded to an invitation to surrender with “Sir, I have not yet begun to fight!” Going on to capture the more powerful HMS Serapis thus forever making it a suitable battle cry for people who have already taken a beating but still intend to win.

You’re confusing her with Tina Fey in a television comedy skit. What did you say about irrelevant loser?

Hey, Bluegill!
You never answered! How’s that Romney Presidency working out for you?

how dare you hurl such an insult at Palin. Palin is anti-Bush on about every point in the same way Reagan was.

As long as she doesn’t remind you of Mitt the loser its all good.
I love how the people that thought Mitt was the answer continue to thing they know how to win elections.

Time for us to use Tom Petty and the Hearbreaker’s song “I Won’t Back Down” as a rallying theme.
Well I won’t back down, no I won’t back down
You could stand me up at the gates of Hell
But I won’t back down
Gonna stand my ground, won’t be turned around
And I’ll keep this world from draggin’ me down
Gonna stand my ground and I won’t back down
Hey baby, there ain’t no easy way out
Hey I will stand my ground
And I won’t back down
Well I know what’s right, I got just one life
In a world that keeps on pushin’ me around
But I’ll stand my ground and I won’t back down
Hey baby there ain’t no easy way out
Hey I will stand my ground
And I won’t back down

Morning all! I’m enjoying this site immensely with the Palin articles the last 2 days. All the regulars are coming out of the woodwork and posting again. Lets keep it rolling so we can drive the GOPe out of this site.
I’m really hoping Palin jumps back into the national debate. Her policiy positions and love of country is exactly what America needs now. I’d love to see her join up with Mark Levin and make appearances across America to speak about the constitution and liberty and how limited government and common-sense conservatism is how we protect both. This could get very interesting. Also, really pleased she cut ties with FOX.
