“We haven’t yet begun to fight”: An interview with Sarah Palin
1. What’s next for you?
Short term: I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can’t just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.
Focus on the 2014 election is also imperative. It’s going to be like 2010, but this time around we need to shake up the GOP machine that tries to orchestrate away too much of the will of constitutional conservatives who don’t give a hoot how they do it in DC. DC is out of touch, obviously. Voices on the right like Mark Levin, Rush, and the writers here at Breitbart have come out strongly against the “go along to get along” politicians who wave the white flag before the battle even begins. We’re not going to be able to advance the cause of limited constitutional government unless we deal with these big government enablers on our side. And this all ties into the problem of crony capitalism and the permanent political class in the Beltway. We need to consistently take them on election after election – ever vigilant.

We have to take the message to the inner cities, the chronic welfare cases and single mothers.

Hmmmm: SarahPAC cash-on-hand = $1,196,957
Robert_Paulson on January 26, 2013 at 11:05 PM
This is great and all, but I don’t think Palin is the one to spread the message. She is not very articulate nor persuasive.
She comes across as a bit of a lightweight clown, to be honest.
But I like the message and thrust of what she’s saying. Let’s do it, but without Sarah Palin as the face of the movement, please.
bluegill on January 26, 2013 at 11:09 PM
It’s never been truer.
thebrokenrattle on January 26, 2013 at 11:09 PM
When is that quitter going to articulate her positions. I mean, like, she’s around forever and I have no idea where she stands on anything.
She says she can see Russia from her house. What an irrelevant loser.

Logically speaking, wouldn’t it have been better for this alleged fight that has yet to begin, have started before the 2012 election and not after?
TEPJoePa on January 26, 2013 at 11:10 PM
Heh. The material just writes its self.
davidk on January 26, 2013 at 11:11 PM
Soooooo…….she wants a radio show, I take it.
She sort of reminds me of Santorum, who couldn’t be elected a Congressman, couldn’t be elected a Governor, couldn’t be elected a Senator, but magically will leap into the White House.
Marcus on January 26, 2013 at 11:12 PM
And she never disappoints. Like one of Pavlov’s dogs.
davidk on January 26, 2013 at 11:13 PM
Ya don’t say, pumpkin?
Now would be a VERY GOOD TIME to start.
MelonCollie on January 26, 2013 at 11:15 PM
Logically speaking, it should have started before 1912.
davidk on January 26, 2013 at 11:16 PM
That presumes that the GOP Establishment is something other than the victims from any of a series of Zombie movies.
Palin is smarter than her detractors think she is; she wasn’t going to be the sacrificial lamb for a GOP run by Petainist RINOtards who were going to hated her worse than they ever hated Obama.
victor82 on January 26, 2013 at 11:17 PM
Where has she said she is running? Cheap shots are always free.
davidk on January 26, 2013 at 11:17 PM
Palin is one of the very few reasons left for me to remain interested in politics. Most of the rest of the people in our national politics are either eunuchs, weasels, thugs, charlatans, or kleptomaniacs. Show me someone I can believe is serious about attempting to fix or even alleviate the country’s problems, particularly the race to see how much of our descendants’ life savings can be spent before the Ponzi scheme finally collapses and the U.S. dollar jumps the shark, and I may become interested again.

Sarah can go ride her horses in Arizona. She gave a call to arms speech in Madison on 4/15/2011. She challenged Obama with “Game on!” as her peroration. Then she disappeared from view, competed in no primary, teased her followers with the fantasy of endorsing a candidate and finally seemed to forget Romney’s name any time she appeared on TV. Sorry Sarah you aint leading any movement. You surrendered that right and responsibility.
xkaydet65 on January 26, 2013 at 11:19 PM
She’ll make a fine Secretary of the Interior to a conservative president who her king-making power will help get into office.
profitsbeard on January 26, 2013 at 11:22 PM
If she attempts to do radio, who the hell would want to listen to a radio show whose host thinks it is intelligent and/or clever to use the phrase, “LAME STREAM Media?”
Then again, maybe she can do a show at a mediocre at best level for a short while, quit, and then have the Palinbots consider her the George Washington of Radio.
TEPJoePa on January 26, 2013 at 11:26 PM
And therein lies the difference between Sarah Palin and all the others.
She is saying take the message to them; She IS NOT saying Taylor a Message for them.

Careful there, JP. You don’t want to use your entire vocabulary in one post.
davidk on January 26, 2013 at 11:34 PM
Eat it troll!
She certainly has articulated her positions but you didn’t care to listen anyway but for those who don’t know:
Sarah laid out her 5 point military/foreign affairs speech in VA that was hail as being a balanced approach – America wouldn’t get entangled with other countries nor provide foreign aid but would still have a strong presence in the world just in case but conflict would be needed after all other means have been exhausted and it truly was in Americas best interest
Later on Sept 3, 2011 she laid out her Ecomonic/anti-cronyism speech that even the New York Times deemed refreshing and different from anybody else they heard in a long time and that it was something that many democrats and Republican voters could agree to wholeheartedly. that was the liberal rag wording I kid you not
And of course she never actually said she saw Russia from her house
NEXT!!!!

If people will listen to a$$-ugly whackos like Alex Jones who rehashes every nutball conspiracy theory in the book, and to flag-waving fanatics on an obsolete medium with the IQ of a houseplant and a 1000-word vocabulary…
I’d say a pretty young conservative woman could get a fair audience.
MelonCollie on January 26, 2013 at 11:37 PM
You can thank the GOPe for that..:)

Remember when a Sarah Palin post would get endless comments. Who were her big fanboys, unseen and garysomething? After the 2012 loss, she just seems so dated now. Almost a completely different time period. I personally like her and share her values, but the country is becoming more liberal not more conservative. I would like to see some hope but we’re looking at four more years of zero and maybe more with Hillary.

Go down the list
Jindal
Christie
Jeb
Ryan
Rubio
Rand even somewhat
None of these who many, including HotGas, has pushed as our upcoming leaders ever has talk about the problem on our side – that being Big Government Republicans – that many of us conservatives and Sarah have been speaking about. Of course, many on the list are Big Government politicians themselves who would rather work with democrats than actually work with conservative in actually reducing government and cutting out the cronyism and corrupt lobbying practices and stoping bailouts to corporations.
If we don’t deal with these people on our side first like Sarah said, we will never truly defeat the dems. She speaks our language
journeymike on January 26, 2013 at 11:48 PM
I think you missed the satire..:(

The primaries were a proxy, where we discovered Mittens was much better tearing down his own side, then challenging Obama,

It is pretty insulting how Sarah Palin tries to present herself as the leader of the Tea Party. The Palin fanatics try to pretend like Sarah Palin is responsible for every Tea Party success, but the truth is that petty drama queen quitter Palin is often a hindrance more than a help. Sarah Palin is all about Sarah Palin.
Palin’s disgusting, divisive antics last year were disgraceful. The way she kept teasing her fanatic worshipers and pretending like she was going to throw her hat in the ring at the last minute, should there be a brokered convention, showed us all what she is all about. She feeds off of conservative infighting. It is her whole shtick. She would be nothing without division among conservatives.
Palin is bad news for conservatives. No wonder liberals love to keep Sarah Palin’s name in the news as much as possible.

You have no idea where she stands because you are an idiot. And please provide a link to her saying she could see Russia. That was from Tina Fey and Saturday Night Live. Now I see why you’re an idiot. You get your info from second hand not-funny comedy shows.
Big John on January 26, 2013 at 11:58 PM
Most conservatives long ago wisened up to Palin’s cutesy shtick. She isn’t taken seriously by most people anymore.
