Ken Cuccinelli helps truck driver escape burning rig
Chenard said he pulled the car up along side of the semi and they saw the back tires of the trailer were engulfed in flames. It was clear the driver was not aware of the problem. Chenard honked his horn to get the driver’s attention and Cuccinelli yelled to the driver out the window and convinced her to pull over.
As soon as they both came to a stop, the Attorney General went to assess the situation.
“I skipped by the cab back to the back of the truck and sure enough it was still on fire,” he said.
Cuccinelli helped the driver out of the cab of the truck and then went in search of a fire extinguisher. After finding one he instructed Chenard to call for help and he ran to the back of the truck to help the driver put out the flames.

Kaine would have not stopped to help, but as soon as he returned to his office would have directed the VSP and VDOT to step up enforcement of safety inspections, and then submit a proposal to increase the gas tax to pay for the extra enforcement effort.
Apples and oranges.

Cuccinelli is a jewel and a great AG! You should be so proud to have him Virginia! Good luck on running/winning for governor!

Bill Bolling chose not to run. As such, Cuccinelli is already the nominee.
But fueling divisions on the right is always helpful. Keep it up. Thanks.

Pffft…
If the
PresidentialMessiah’s Motorcade was to happen by, KBHO would have extinguished the flames with his mind.turfmann on January 26, 2013 at 2:13 PM
I know that he has chosen not to run, but he sure as heck isn’t going away quietly. It’s clear that Bolling isn’t too happy about Cuccinelli going for the job, when he thought he was next in line. It was a joke. Lighten up.

Ok, so he did what any human being should do, help somebody out. Big woop it’s not like the guy was trapped in the truck and he risked life and limb to pull him from the fingers of the flames.

I like the commenters correcting the NBC folks’ punctuation and spelling.

MSNBC to begin investigation into whether or not the truck fire was staged for Cuccinelli’s benefit.
