Aint it amazin how human rights watch can ignore the atrocities of the islamists against Christians and other groups, but jump and have a hissy fit if the Christians and other groups strike back?

You didn’t capitalize but I’m guessing you mean HRW, in which case, from their 98 page recent report on Boko Haram:

Boko Haram, which means “Western education is a sin” in the Hausa language of northern Nigeria, seeks to impose a strict form of Sharia, or Islamic law, in northern Nigeria and end government corruption. Widespread poverty, corruption, police abuse, and longstanding impunity for a range of crimes have created a fertile ground for violent militancy in Nigeria, Human Rights Watch said.

Boko Haram’s attacks – centered in northern Nigeria – have primarily targeted police and other government security agents, Christians, and Muslims working for or accused of cooperating with the government.The group has also bombed newspaper offices and the United Nations building in the capital, Abuja; attacked beer halls and robbed banks; and burned down schools.

There are 100s of examples like that of the research work they’ve done on radical Islamist groups and governments all over the world from the field, risking their own freedom and even lives. If only there was a medium like a website you could visit and do some of your own research.

Condemnation of attacks on religious minorities in Syria:

Armed opposition groups appeared to have deliberately destroyed religious sites in mixed areas of Northern Syria, in November and December 2012, Human Rights Watch said following investigations in Latakia and Idlib governorates. An armed opposition group destroyed a Shia place of worship in Idlib governorate, and two Christian churches in Latakia governorate were looted. In all three cases evidence examined by Human Rights Watch suggests, and witnesses stated, that the attacks took place after the area fell to opposition control and government forces had left the area.

Islamist armed groups occupying northern Mali should immediately release all child soldiers within their ranks and end the military conscription and use ofthose under 18, Human Rights Watch said today.

Condemnation of arrest of Christians in private prayer in Saudi Arabia:

Thirty five Ethiopian Christians are awaiting deportation from Saudi Arabia for “illicit mingling,” after police arrested them when they raided a private prayer gathering in Jeddah in mid-December, 2011, Human Rights Watch said today. Of those arrested, 29 were women. They were subjected to arbitrary body cavity searches in custody, three of the Ethiopians told Human Rights Watch.

Of greater concern are the indulgent comments by third parties. The evidence belies the claim that the UAE is a progressive state where human rights is concerned.
