Heh. It was already about 3 bucks a bottle at the Trader Joe’s in Dallas this Christmas. I just figured it was probably state taxes on wine or something.

More than a few of those passed through my house.
Won’t serve to guests unless requested. ( Happens a lot )
But Charles Shaw is most certainly the “House Wine” at my place.
Cabernet, anyway. The Merlot sucks.

It had to happen. I bought 16 cases on December 31, 2012. California sales tax was going on on January 1, 2013 because of Proposition 30 and I knew that the Boehner was going to wuss out on the top tax rate. Everything we use is made by a company in the top tax rate.
