President Obama does not have any extra funding for any of his schemes, he has to borrow it all. Good reason to make cuts and not raise the debt ceiling.

I think Obama’s plan is to demean the GOP for the next two years in the hopes of trying to get the House back. The strategy will be to find an issue in close districts and then go torch the GOP candidate in the hopes of making him or her out to be a crackpot that no reasonable person could vote for.

If he can get the House back, then he’ll go for broke and press all the Dems to go for broke with him.
