Did he cut the deficit un half?
tom daschle concerned on January 20, 2013 at 10:49 PM
So is that good? I know I think it sucks.

Hilarious. From link:
Because when you have to initiate arbitration to get FEMA funds, that equals a kept promise for Obama. Amazing.

Politfact plays fast and loose as Roger has noted. Alos, they’ll rate opinions of those on the right as if the person was quoting something as fact. I trust them as far as I can throw em.

So, is he a 55% Liar?
Schadenfreude on January 20, 2013 at 11:23 PM
Biased as they are, they could only get him to 45%. When you consider he promised to do many things that are a really bad idea, and kept those, he’s a disaster.
zmdavid on January 20, 2013 at 11:23 PM
Ah, yes…. the same Politi”fact” which was certain that Jeeps wouldn’t possibly be built in China when a certain candidate disliked by Politi”fact” management and elves mentioned it during the 3rd debate?

That’s an extremely good point.

This stupidity is more like “PolitiFantasy“!!!
…and they can’t even spin a plausible lie about the unbroken record of Obama-failures!!!
These folks are not going to recover when Reality bites them and swallows them whole!!!

Politi-fact conveniently has forgotten about that promise.
Dollayo on January 20, 2013 at 11:35 PM
To be fair, scrolling through the broken promises, on most of them I’m glad he lied/failed.
theperfecteconomist on January 20, 2013 at 11:38 PM
Well, I guess energy prices haven’t “skyrocketed”.
Transpo on January 20, 2013 at 11:38 PM
So 45% is a good, solid B-plus? That’s not a grade curve it’s a death spiral.
trubble on January 21, 2013 at 3:19 AM
Yep. And 60% of the time, it works every time.
Gatsu on January 21, 2013 at 7:32 AM
Considering how many times he said one thing in a speech, and the exact opposite a little later in the same speech, the numbers should be close to 50%. He’s made a career out of talking out both sides of his mouth, never really committing to one position or the other. He means about half of what he says; the other half is just to score political points.

So, is the the same Politifact that just admited that its LIE OF THE YEAR wasn’t a Lie after all, now that Obama is safely Re-Elected?
