LOL. No kidding. According to Billy-boy, we rubes who support Second Amendment rights only do so because we’re poor, or because we’re too stupid to know better. (Reminds me of when John F’ing Kerry warned students to study hard so they wouldn’t have to end up in the military).

Makes one wonder what these oh-so-wise “elites” would say if they were actually trying to be insulting to us common folks.

It’s the lib playbook. If you have to desecrate the memories of a child and piss on their grave to make your point, it is worth it…for the cause. Che did all kinds of interesting stuff ‘for the cause’ too.

old Bill’s statement is a reminder of how the Democrat party used to be… liberal to be sure, but not quite insanely so. Clinton can say these things and appeal to wide audiences because his background backs it up. He actually is from a so-called flyover state and grew up more or less as a ‘good old boy’ made good. So he intuitively ‘gets’ middle American conservatism even if he is a rapid leftist. It is one of the reasons he remains so popular.

This thinking always gets me. I live in LA. What the F would I hunt or fish? And what fire arm is appropriate for fishing?

The words Urban Defense never come up. Practical weapons in an this environment are handguns, street sweepers (if you can find one) and semi-auto rifles. Not a single weapon practical for hunting quail.

They think that all urban villagers are all fellow travelers. I’m pretty moderate, but gun control is off the table.
