Deadspin has a vested interest, a vested financial interest in making T’eo out to be a liar. They’re a left-wing dirt rag and that people are taking them as gospel on this when they call them out with venom on almost ever other issue shows a kind of willful blindness to reality. There’s a particular condition that this is called, but I forget what. I’m sure Ace, or AP or Ed would know.

I can understand people saying there are a lot more important things than this, but I don’t see how you can say it’s a boring story. All kinds of strange, weird details revealing the wackiness of human endeavor and living in cyber and non-cyber America in the 21st century.

At this point — who cares? Whether it adds up or not, he did not commit a crime. And it was the MSM that looked and continue to look like a bunch of buffoons.

Sports and Hollywood, about the same level of maturity and reality exist in each…dog killers, suicides, women beating, shootings, drama-drama-drama—all around people who do little except entertain.

And the public suck it up…it’s more entertaining watching the “fans” than I could ever imagine…people are actually invested in these fools.

How anyone could but casually support professional sports, they are all pretty much not too far from professional wrestling or roller derby…it’s just entertainment, is’t shocking people even bet on these guys.

Amazing how easily led people are by fame and marketing…

I missed this.

Ray Nagin is under federal indictment for taking straight up cash bribes, other kickbacks, filing false tax returns, obstruction of justice, and purjury. Apparently even in a city famous for corruption, no one ever graduated to the full federal menu of charges.

He currently (for now at least) resides in Dallas Texas.
